Away's First Grow - DIY Closet Grow - TopLED Mars II 80x5 - 2014

I think this is not a heat stress, man. Dunno why, but my plant's first fan leaves looked that too, i thought about heat stress too, later when new leaves appeared, this ended and never have appeared again, despite that wattage of the lights have been risen 3 fold since then. IMHO do not think about it, just let it grow :Namaste:

give em 50-100 PPM of cal-mag and see what it does

I have no PPM meter man... And i dont have a Cal-mag solution, but as far as i understood Epsom salt works right? I could give her a shot with that to see what it does on the next watering...It's pretty much the only thing i havent tried now..
It's not the ventilation.. It's not the light cause she does it under CFL as well.. and its not because of heat,i know that for sure cause it's been freaking cold here the last 3-4 days... So maybe she's lacking some cal-mag i dont know, but i guess its worth a shot.

Hope you're all staying high :)

Your upward leaf curl is either a evaporation problem, heat stress or a magnesium deficiency. What are your grow area temperature and humidity levels? Cannabis plants grown under LED lights have a higher demand for calcium and magnesium, I would use a calcium and magnesium supplement if you are not already using one.

I use Botanicare's Cal-Mag Plus as a calcium and magnesium supplement.

Hey away. I'm starting my 2nd journal tomorrow if you want to come on by.

KingJohn, thanks for the input, i believe i have outruled everything above besides Cal-Mag so i am about to give her a shot of Epsom salts within the next few days to try and make up for it.. we'll see how she reacts and if that doesnt help then SCREW it. I will let her grow anyway, because she is nowhere near stunted from it, she's just going on and on growing bigger everyday still :)

She's got 2 heads now by the way ^^ Soon she will have 4 heheh.. :)

Hey everyone ;)

Tonight i fed the K-train with 0.75mL / L Grow (like last feed) and half of a teaspoon epsom salt to 2 liters of water. After giving her those 2 liters i gave her another liter pure water just to get some runoff.
Really hoping the epsom salt will help at this point..

I also gave her a defoliation, removed 6 big fan leaves, but there are some more i could've taken, but i figured i'd just leave them there cause they dont shade anything.

Pictuuuuuresssszzzz

Before defoliation..

It just hit me, that tying her down like this is probably going to cause me some problems when stretch comes.. Cause this girl is supposed to more than double in size when you flip the switch..
So right now i'm still open to suggestions! :)

What i'm thinking right now is:
Untie her completely. Then i will pull down the two new tops in each their direction and try to hold all canopy at that height for a week or two, to try and get as much of the width i can. then flip the switch. Then starts the chaos.
As she is stretching i will have to look in every day and bend n twist to keep as much of her in the light as possible, without a net..

I think the net on this girl will be a massive failure because of the speed she's growing at.. other people without my space limitations should DEFFINATELY scrog her, but i think i've got too little depth and width in my space to do it.
She will simply outgrow my space, because she is so damn vigorious xD So instead i will try to draw advantage of the height i got.

I will do the width i can as i described and then just try to supercrop if nescesary or tie her down.. Depending on how she's looking obviously.. It will be a strange situation where everything can happen, unlike the plan i had for her to start with. This is exciting. Also scary, cause now i have no clue how she's going to look = how i'm going to handle her. :)
