Away's First Grow - DIY Closet Grow - TopLED Mars II 80x5 - 2014

Hey Away!!! That LED looks like it illluminates your garden very nicely!!! Wow I have never heard of Chocolate Kush but sounds delicious!!!

If you feel like checking out my current journal, I am in mid flowering and my LED's are rocking! I also will be sharing a special surprise tonight as a new reveal :) hope you can make it!

On the seedling troubles, i've come to a suspicion that it may be overwatering.. So for now i'm letting them dry out nicely (not crusty, but dry) and give them a more 'dry/wet' circle. The girls in the 2 little pots will be ready to transplant soon i think, cause i can see they're only half as big as the 4 other girls who are in bigger pots.. they need more space!
Anyway there will be pictures tommorow guys :thumb:

I don't know if this is good advice, I expect somebody to correct me if I'm wrong. But even though she is an AF I would remove some of those affected leaves. Not for cosmetic purposes but so the light can hit the lower buds more too. I know defoliation is a very controversial thing around here but I don't think she can get more stressed anyway, and don't think the half dead leaves are useful to her now.

Tenshi, I can say this from my own personal experience in my grow. I noticed that on the plant that I removed damaged leafs from the sites I removed the fan leafs from didn't produce anymore buds but the sites I left the damaged leafs on buds formed. The damaged leafs eventually fell off on their own. I will never remove damaged leafs again unless it's during a scheduled defol.

Guess i'm about to experience this then guys, because i've already removed most of the bad fan leaves.. some was attached to buds i think.. we'll see though
 
If the leaf is at least half alive then keep it but if the leaf is less than half alive then you take it off since it is a net drain on production.

Here's those pictures.. It's funny cause the chocolate kush and fast cheese #1 are just growing great, but the other seedlings seems a little stunted, some have bad lower leaves.. Is this overwatering?

Also i transplanted my 2 girls Cream Caramel and Fast Cheese #2, hopefully they'll like their new home ;)

Check out CO Finest Monster Train thread - one of his vids has a cheap lens he uses in front of camera to improve the pic quality in lieu of not having a custom white balance setting on the camera, works very well.
 
Hey mate, just saw your journal and thought WOOHOO someone doing the same thing I am on a budget! I think not going cheap on the light was wise, I am on a tight budget also and cant afford to pay the street prices for average weed. And me and my gf gotta smo)ke ya know =)

Anyway I saw the Amnesia.. I wanted to show you my auto-flower. Its Northern lights auto from Sensi seeds, I dont know why its done this well I have only feed it once with some basic organic stuff i bought.. (I dont speak the laungage where I live so I just guessed with fertilizer lol)

One thing I will say is I have my light ALOT closer as in...

Big plant is on day 34 little one is on day 15 i think.

Its about 19 cm away from the top, and it has grown about 4 cm in 24 hours =) no light burn..
Just my opinion, but I would lower that light, water when the pot is as light as a feather, and go so easy on the fertilizer its like your not even feeding it, also I am running 24 hour straight light just to try and speed things along =)

Hope this helps, loved your carbon filter, I did the same thing, but then thought....f%#k it I like the smell =)

Lol hey man, thanks for stopping by! Sounds alot like we got the same thing going on here man ;)
The reason why the amnesia looks like that is mostly because of too much nutes.. not light i think. I have lowered it alot though, not as close as you but alot closer ;) we'll see.. might try to put it even closer, untill i see bad reactions.
But yes you're very right, this time im going the super light way. I've messed up with the watering of the seedlings i think, but from now i'm gonna do dry/wet circle, very little nutes and not too often. Hopefully this one will be my success :) :high-five:

- I've had the same thought on the filter.. Fk it.. I wouldnt mind the smell tbh, besides my neighbours smells my weed every day :)
 
Haha I thought the same thing, I'm blazing on my balcony with neighbours above, below, left and right to me. (Apartment)
If there gonna call the police they would have done it by now...knock on wood...

I see so its nute burn, ah well lesson learned!! Yeah bro, I starve my plants for water make the roots shoot out and search for it, then load them with water, you watch the plant go from abit sad and limb to standing on there toes lol, + letting soil dry right out will help with molds and fungi aswell.
