Autos v. Photos - A 5x5 No Rules Fight for Yield: A Jon & NickHardy Gig

I get worried about your side lighting. Then not worried. Then…

You get the picture. I have a good few weeks to decide though. The current grow is giving me a sighter!

For me my numbers I think like this,

My target per plant is 150g x 12

12 x 150g is 1800g

In old money

12 x 5.29oz = 63.5oz - 3.96lbs

If I miss that - and I think I think I will in the current 5x5 grow due to some strain/timing/defol decisions - but I miss that in this grow I’ll be annoyed.

So I bought 4 of these. $30 each. Then I wondered if 8 wouldn’t be better?

Reckon I can add more if required, see what these turn out like. 102 diodes meh lets see. But Samsung LM301h Evo, latest and greatest - allegedly - these are well known to be faked. Or can be low bin nunbers and so the b range is actually better maybe. For $120 for the 4 I think its a risk worth taking. I can hang them from the tent frame down the sides.

One day I’ll have an attic. When I do it’ll not be short of lights 🤣

Hey Nick…here’s a current Blackberry Moonrocks AUTO cola. This is my elbow to fingertip long. You see how dense it is. This is in my bedroom closet where I have zero environmental controls, and after I brought her back from an almost killer burn job. Switched up nutes. Wrong light. This plant has no business making these. Wonder if grower skills have anything to do with it?

It’s not too late for you to back out. There’s no shame in it. I’d be scared too. We will still be boys. It’s okay. I’ll send you a hanky.

Hello from 2024, everyone! Happy New Year, I wish you all the best for every dream and care you have for the coming year, with much love from me, & Co and the rest of the fam that are here.

I would just like to caution you that not all the hopes and dreams you have for 2024 are realistic or achievable. I for one will fail to give up the Marlboros again. Be realistic with your goals, pick achievable targets and this time next year, you won’t have felt that despair at having made promises your butt just couldn’t cash. Jon, talks a good game, though, eh?

you need more watts of light bit on the low side especially if you want 6 ft plus high plants the bottom 4 ft be mostly

Thus I have side lights. Total wattage = 980. I’ll grow 6’ of solid colas top to bottom.

980 is more than enough wattage for huge tent plants.

4x4 480w = 30w per square foot

12x 16oz pots - total 1.5 Gallons of coco in pots.

I just “RD 36 Hour Turbo™” flipped.

Puts me 8 weeks out, not sure why you felt the need to ask Canuk the flower time for your Grandaddy Bruce, but with Bruce in the name its 9-10. You’re on week 3? My lickle ickle solo pots will finish within a week of yours.

Since those are on a more similar schedule to yours why don’t we play there? I’ll crush your grow for yield with just 480w and solo cups?

Jon and I can get on with our gig here without hearing “what the watt?” Every other post.

Damn man. I didn’t factor into my shit talking the fact that financially you are in a significantly bigger boat than me. Shit! If I had coin I’d get four of these or something. Very much like them. I gotta do it with 2 XS 1500 Pros. These are built for it. Shit. Now I’m getting a little worried. Lol. I’d have probably gone with 80s or 100s, but damn. I’m jealous.

You’re going to be defoliating the whole grow with those. It’ll become a full time job if you use them in veg. Lmao. Hafta takes 30-60 leaves every day sometimes. 🤣🤣🤣

wow that wont be the same quality from top to middle to bottom ... not even in the sunshine

in door for commercial product is top buds only .. i do know some old timers that love a bag of trimmed of fan leaves

you need alot more power .. more power Scotty !!!!!!
