The third of four plants to harvest this month came down at 39" and weighed 442g wet. She'll be 3.9 ounces dry.

You do realize that grey bear pulled 683 g DRY off of a purple amnesia hydro setup right???

Wow!

That's another reason I want another light.....could use one light to keep me in Kush and another light for growing monster autos for kicks.

A result like that would certainly justify a 600W but unless I know I'll like the smoke I wouldn't want to put all my eggs in one basket.

We'll see how close I get to the 183g for Auto Pink Grapefruit first. ;)

Some good looking stuff guys, but speaking of lights I still need some help with bulb questions with my 600 watt mh set up if y'all look at the last page on here please?? Neone?? Thanks

To answer your question as best I can with y limited knowledge. I believe its like almost any thing you get what you pay for. I spent a fair amount on.my bulbs and I believe it is already makeing a diffence. I also believe a MH bulb in veg make a huge diffence. With a HPS I saw weak stretched plants.

I'd like to try MH for veg with photo period plants but is it worth the risk of leaving it too long with autos? After starting seedlings under CFL I've been going straight to a 600W dual spectrum HPS.

Idk if there's any risk? Maybe I'm wrong but I figured as you switch to bloom nutes you switch bulbs as well? Am I thinking along the right line?

You can run autos with MH. Some people well flower with both, I suppose with my LED's I do. I've run autos with MH until just after stretch, no problem, some plants really like that blue light....

Yes I do know it is best to switch from metal halide bulb for veg to h.p.s for bloom but what I'm wondering if I should go and spend 40-70 bucks on a better mh bulb right now, compared to the one that came with the setup? U know r they really that much better/different? Then u have the question of what bulb? Arrrrrghhhh....... Lol

U no first off it's hard to trust what they claim the "no name" bulb that comes with a cheap mh/hps ballast kit lumens color ratings r n such.. So first off I don't have a starting point to go off of. Then if I go and buy a better one which one out of the hundreds to choose from?

I say just use up the build you got man, if u did not have one or it blows spend a Lil more and get a better bulb. No sense in spending the money unless u got money to blow.
