Autoflower Myth Busting Thread

I have just heard and read so much I would rather get it from the auto-flowering peeps. Not to mention it's hard to find places and things devoted to autos

You basically scrape it off the mesh growchick and then let it air dry or use a hair dryer to speed up the process. I use to make bubble hash before i swappped to making wax. And if there is any that makes it into the bottom of the bucket slowly drain off the water after everything settles. I use to take and roll it inbetween my fingers the heat and pressure will make the crystals stick together looks like this if you work it together lol.

Well... I bought a few diff variety show ya know. But I think I'm going to try the hardier northern lights first.
 
I'm a total nube my self but I am also attempting to grow NLs check out my journal if u got a sec man. You should start a journal if you can a lot of good people on hear who have a lot of experience.

I feel like such a complete idiot ROFLMAO well actually I just feel old.

When I was in high school, we used to get weed and shake it in a wire strainer, like from the kitchen, over a shoe box lid, and we'd take all that stuff that shook out and roll it around and get a ball of what we called hash - just like what you show in your picture! I had no idea the stuff we knocked off was called kief. We didn't call it that.

Fast forward to today, and people go on about kief, which I finally figured out was trichomes that get filtered out in their grinders (which I'm not a fan of because like I'd rather that stay on my weed in my bowl than filter out and use later). So, I hear people talk about bubble hash, and full melt hash, and this hash and that hash, and it's all just the same damn thing, filtered off the plant in a different way. it just looks so different in all the pictures because I guess people don't roll it in their hands to make it a ball any more. I thought it was like the oils and completely different like the butane kind is different from the grain alcohol kind lol

I don't understand why there are so many words for the same thing now! I thought all these things were different things!

I have yet to figure out what is wax, which I gather one dabs, but remain clueless as to how exactly. hehe

I do like the idea of using dry ice - I just googled it and watched a YouTube video, but it seemed really dumb to me to shake it out over a table like he did in the video. So much poofed up into the air and was gone. I need a mechanical way to shake this out if I use dry ice.
 
Yeah I was wanting too. I was thinking maybe not my first time out. I actually allready started a couple of n.l. Seeds and I guess there doing ok ?? I mean well there not dead lmao.. I guess if I had a journal though right....
 
I found some pro mix HP I wonder how well that will work. It has mychorizze in it and the hp stands for high porosity.
 
Sure wish a-train would chime in on this one and also would say what he thinks bought those two sad specimens.. Neone else's opinions and help is appreciated as well
 
I have a bail of the bx. Not totally sure on the difference but I think it has some anti fungal properties could be way off lol just thought I read that some wear
