Autoflower Myth Busting Thread

Question for Atrain or Beast please.

I have my very first auto (Auto Candy Kush) breaking through Promix BX with some added Perlite as I type this. She's in a 5 gallon Superoot's Air Pot and the plan for her is to use the Advanced nute pH perfect line. I have on hand the whole line from Hobbyest through Grand Master including;

Sensi Grow A/ Sensi Grow B/ Sensi Bloom A/ Sensi Bloom B/B-52/ Voodoo Juuice/Big Bud/ Overdrive/ Pirahna/ Big Bud/ Bud Candy/ Flawless Finish/ Tarantula/ Nirvana/ Sensizym/ Bud Ignitor/ Rhino Skin/ Bud Factor X

I've never used the Advanced lineup before and my question is, should I be adding a few of these products to the Promix now/very soon to help root development?

Any help with this would be much appreciated because until I can pretty much follow along with the Advanced Online Nutrient Calc I feel I may be missing a little something I could be adding to the Promix right now to help roots. Thanks

 
Yea mate u could add the root stimulator now they will enjoy it;) i use advanced nutes just the veg feed but in 2 weeks im getting the b25 vodoo juice big bud and overdrive;) have a nice day;)and congrats on ur first baby auto good job;)
 
Holy shit.... somebody splurged on nutes..... hell yes man... look I know beast said use it now .... I use the exact setup you do.. pro mix and AN... I don't have as many as you in my line but I just helped a guy else where and I have it written out alrwady.... it's going to be a little confusing to get use to but here's what I suggest.... Go to advanced nutrients . Com and pull up there calculator from the top left hand of the page
 
Do this..... make your self a chart..... just like the one that pulls up on there web page when you go to the calculator.... make 2 of them a 5 week veg and a 5 week bloom...Go to the calculator and pull up the veg with sensi... make it a 5 week instead of 4.... then instead of looking at how much to feed just make a check mark on that week.. do the same for the flower..... pull up bloom put in Sensi Bloom base and click gran master level... then make a check mark for each product you have and when it says use it....



The reason I said 5 and 5 IA because the average age of an auto is 70 days... 10 weeks.... usually by day 35 or 40 I switch to bloom... if ypu want you can make the veg a 6 week chart... just to be safe... bit remember the chart is a helper not a must do.. . So now that you have the checks feed like this..-


Start @1ml/L base nutes at day 10 or 14.... slowly work them up by .5ml/L Each week until you get to 2ml/L then stop... that is plenty enough when feeding daily...-

During veg feed vodoo @2ml/L from day 10 to day 24 then stop.....feed b52 from day 10 on in veg @2ml/L

Once you hit flower if it were me I would feed the same 2ml/L Sensi Bloom A and b then when the chart reccomend an additive that you have .... start that additive @ 1ml/l.... that's half the reccomended dose but damn.... with all that shit going in it should work lol.... this is what I would do if it were me.... hope that helps

Holy shit I was going to be way off the mark doing it on my own. Before I seen this thread I kept going to the AN calculator trying to take a week or 2 away from the veg chart with sensi grow (because of the short veg cycle) of an auto. Ive heard everyone say that they really only veg for about 2 weeks before they start to flower so I was like fuck.....How am I gonna get all these veg nutes in in just a 2 week veg and the calculator wont let me take any weeks off their 4 week veg.....But you say I actually add a week to their 4 week plan...Total opposite of what I thought would need to happen.

So, my seedling just broke soil and started to stand up straight within the last 8 hours. So nothing until day 10-14? These nutes have me a bit fucked up because I know they are all supposed to be used together for the peerfect pH so I'm not sure what ones I can use right now if needed to help roots very early in my seedlings life. I cannot add any of the root nutes without the base nutes correct? Otherwise pH goes out of whack?


Yeah, I splurged on the nutes lol. I figured if I'm gonna try it I may as well do all....Fuck...these nutes better work for that kind of money:thumb:
 
Those nutes WORK...I promise before those bottles run out... you will return your money by a lot... I grow monsters with less than what u have lol, I'm working my way up..... and in pro mix it contains nutes... very very little but that's all your plant needs for 10 days.... just water and let her grow...let her get her feet under her and on day 10 start Sensi A and B @1ml/L and vodoo and B52 @2ml/L. Water enough to last a day or 2 no need to water the entire pot

Not my first grow but for sure my first with AN

Question 1 is no nutes at all even for root development right now? (she just now broke soil)

Question 2 What do you mean by put a check on "that week" Do you literally mean a check on the web site because I see no option or spot to put a check in?

Otherwise I think I fully understand what you are saying. You are saying to feed every day instead of one batch of nutes per week at their said amounts. So basically what you have me doing is ...let's say the base nutes say 16ML/L for week 1 then I'm dividing by 7 days so I will be giving her about 2ML per day of base nutes right? Thanks again!
