Auto Growers Unite: A Community Thread

I have 3 Fast Buds GSC plants, they are getting along great, I ordered a couple of Illuminautos - the Sour Crinkle and Blue Toof, I got some Auto Cush free. I have a big baby Sour Crinkle, still waiting of the other two to burst. Can't wait to have the big girls throwing out giant frosty buds !!

Just a little snip and you won't even notice it gone , but you'll see it swell up CRAZY , it's a great technique there is a thread that's called LA's guide to back building " read it and he will explain it the best it stands for light addict one of the best growers I have ever talked to

I want to do some training on my autos but don't want to stress them too much either. Backbuilding seems like a good one to do. Thanks! ..

Question on nutes - I was planning on using general hydroponics but just heard they were purchased by miracle grow. Am I ok with general hydroponics or should I switch to something else?

I use GH full line from the 3 part to diamond nectar , armor si , cal-mag, liquid Kool Bloom, floruialous plus, my only extras are mammoth p , and earth juice hi brix

I like an (advanced nutrients) ph perfect grow/micro/bloom & their additives. Ck out danthegrowman.com as I heard straight from an rep that either there, or your local grow shop could advanced nutrients say it’s product is authentic/& not out of date. Just FYI. Also dan has great bundle packages. I’ve shopped around. You could find on amazon or eBay, but that product may be out of date.

Just an observation. If you plan to LST? Plant the seedling to one side of the pot. That way when it is bent...the growth is toward the center of the pot, instead of growing off to one side.

:)

You know, I realized that I should have done that on my first grow, but due to smoking too much, I somehow forgot to do it again. Lol. Now I've got one branch all hanging over edge of me pot like a bloomin beer gut!

Hi Brother Budders, Here's a harvest report:
Strain: Auto Jack Herer from Crop King Seeds
Medium: Miracle Mix (organic, PH balanced potting soil) in 5 gal GeoPot (cloth)
Lighting: 300 W of T5's fluorescents in veg (not enough!) (5 weeks), 1000 W HPS in flower (11 weeks)
Nutes: Green Planet "Take it and Grow" kit.
Water: Ph'd with cider vinegar to between 5.5 & 6.5
Problems: -Thrips in 4th week of vegetation cycle solved with homemade insecticidal soap spray
-Zinc deficiency in 9th week of flower - adjusted nutes (stopped in 10th and 11th weeks due to upcoming harvest) and put some 3 1/2" galvanized nails in soil for additional zinc supply to roots
Total Height: 21.5"
Harvest Weight: 365 grams with sugar leaves and stems still attached.
Jarring weight: 48 grams trimmed.
Here's some photo's with the fan leaves pretty much trimmed off to expose buds. Sorry for the orientation, something messed up.
