Auto Growers Unite: A Community Thread

I have a question guys when I flush do I also do it with ph my water
It's not essential to Ph your water since you're saturating the medium to remove all nutrients. If then your Ph is off and blocking out nutrient uptake, this is a good thing at this stage. It means less "unnatural flavour" after harvest... But if you were flushing mid flower or during veg then you would most definitely Ph the water to keep the medium in the right range.

New guy here, been creeping around the auto section a good spell. Figured I would register and participate. I will have a single bucket hydro run here shortly.
We look forward to seeing your hydro bucket in action. Welcome to forums Nonpoint :welcome: and thanks for coming to share it the auto Growers threads.

Hello all auto lovers :ciao:

Quick question for every.....I don't think I have seen anyone ask this so I will throw it out there :bong:

We all know what happens when you interrupt the dark cycle on a photo plant, Is there any effect on an auto if you interrupt the dark cycle????? I'm thinking maybe not because they are auto's?
:circle-of-love:
If it is a consistent interruption from dead dark to lights on it may result in light poisoning. Although much less susceptible than photoperiods hermies are not unheard of. More research is required for me to give a certain answer, better to be safe than sorry.

Hey all

I've been in the other auto thread and just came across this one. Subbed up . .

Here my girls CK Nycd auto ( first grow)

Having some issues with fert/ph but at least I'm learning
Iti
It's all about the learning adventure with these plants. Glad you've come to be a part of the auto community, share and learn what knowledge you can. :thanks:

Thanks. My first run will be a green crack bean. I have a few others on standby as well.

I will be useing a waterfarm drip kit with the vege, micro and bloom nutes that come with the kit. I plan on picking up some calmag and PH up/down as well.

Light rig will be a pair of digital HID 250's in a dual hood in 4x4 tent.
Sounds great, can't wait to see the plan in motion. Good luck :thumb:

Is this the good soil?
 it's a start... But I bet the one you're looking for is the big empty space. probably got cleaned out by all the winter cultivators a month ago. From outdoor to indoor you're going to need some promix. :thumb:

My grow setup is only 30,000 lux to 35,000 lux is that ok to?
This is sufficient for vegetation phase but a little low for flowering. If you could add a few during flower or focus the light better you'll be golden. It's not ideal but that amount will certainly produce buds worth a gander. Good luck Blaise :thumb:
I have read 50,000 is ideal.. But again not 100%..
:thanks: Jimmy

KiG everyone :green_heart:cheers

Hey Blaise, upon further investigation lol those are all grass seeds. You're in the wrong aisle...

Its a long debated subject...kinda like the chicken and the egg....But the short of it is...yes...and...no.....If you look at the plant like an engine, there comes a point that it just wont drink any more gas. However, the thing to focus on is light intensity....example...
If you take your average led panel..say 500 true watts...you hang it 3 feet away from the plants..no problem, you put it 6" away and your plants are dead. You can take a 500 true watt t5 and put if 3 feet away and your plants will stretch put it 6 inches away and you plants are fine...its all about intensity

To sum it up...imho....the sun produces around 10,000 lumens per sqft at the equator, cram more than 10,000 lumens per sqft over your canopy and You could have massive buds.....people have done this however they also had a nightmare of a time trying to keep up with nutes, ph, problems here problems there...most said not worth it. You can find charts on here if you look hard enough but i believe it recommended to have at least 50w true watts per sqft in veg and around 75 in flower or 5000 lumens and 7500 lumens or however many lux..or umols/ or however you measure. I've seen grows with around 3500 lumens per sqft of cfl and they produced good looking buds.

Hope this helps

If I'm wrong someone please correct me :thumb:

Is this stuff good for cannibis plants?

Sent from my iPhone using 420 Magazine Mobile App

Not advisable, it will work better than using nothing but there's no way to control dosage of NPK. For that reason I say no... Unless you have nothing else. Think about organics like kelp meal, alfalfa meal and things like worm castings and bat guano. There's many better options than that stuff.

I bought it before you said that I put 11 drops in a 1 leter pale of water how many times a month should I feed it this stuff?
