Hey Lupey,
Did you trim the plant to look like that or is that what the end result should look like.
Wow, I've definately being doing something wrong

Sorry I missed your question. She was LST through the whole grow it kept her only 12" high at harvest. This pic she was defoliated just before cutting. But I kept removing the dead leaves as they appeared

Hello all auto lovers :ciao:

Quick question for every.....I don't think I have seen anyone ask this so I will throw it out there :bong:

We all know what happens when you interrupt the dark cycle on a photo plant, Is there any effect on an auto if you interrupt the dark cycle????? I'm thinking maybe not because they are auto's?

I think yes and no. Ideally autos are meant to grow and do its own genetically designed "destiny" regardless of how many hours you let it go in the dark. Dark hours wont affect autos like photoperiods.

Some ppl think leaving autos under light 24hr gives you the best yield and some believe autos need dark hours to stretch, grow and rest. I think you should give increase number of dark hours during flowering no matter what though.

Great question! I'd like to know the answer too, because just this morning I had to interrupt the cycle to move the plant out of sight before the landlord came in!

I would think that maybe its not ideal...but since there auto's maybe it's like someone being woke up in the middle of the night....not necessarily your best the next day .

That's what I was thinking. As long as it's not a permanent change, I wouldn't think an occasional hiccup would make a difference.

New guy here, been creeping around the auto section a good spell. Figured I would register and participate. I will have a single bucket hydro run here shortly.

I have a question guys when I flush do I also do it with ph water

I flushed without pHing the water...the pH liquid is chemicals and will alter the taste of the finished product.

Hey all

I've been in the other auto thread and just came across this one. Subbed up . .

I have had tons of pH/fert issues myself, and I have just harvested my first two ladies...and got a massive yield so far.

So keep up the good works!

Thanks. My first run will be a green crack bean. I have a few others on standby as well.

I will be useing a waterfarm drip kit with the vege, micro and bloom nutes that come with the kit. I plan on picking up some calmag and PH up/down as well.

Light rig will be a pair of digital HID 250's in a dual hood in 4x4 tent.

I believe rhat 18/6 is the best schedule for autos definetly not 24 the plants need time to rest and use up all that energy they been collecting. As far as interrupting dark cycle im not sure. I know you can throw a bean in and it will grow sitting in the middle of your kitchen and it would be fine but what kinda throws me off is that if we give them a dark cycle (complete dark) their whole life then interrupting their dark cycle could stress her because she has always had a dark cycle and has grown comfortable with that. BUTTTTTT that is just a guess and how I feel but im still confused myself but it sounds logical but im sure that 18/6 is best for their whole life

anything that occurs in nature cannot be unnatural!
