The pointy thing next to the pipe cleaner, if that is to what you are referring, is a stipule.

Hey guys, 6 weeks into my first plant and I'm realizing I did not train this plant properly, or really at all.
Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can do at this stage to still maybe increase my yield?
I've tied her down twice, you can see one on the right side there. I was trying to do some LST but have no clue what I'm doing. Should've topped but didn't know I could since she's an auto. Anyways, any help is appreciated. Any additional info needed, just ask.
Okay, that makes sense. I'll give it a shot and see what happens. Thanks!Others know far more than me about the subject. Since nobody has answered yet...the plant looks like it has 2 more dominate shoots. Tie them with the tip pointing to an open area of the pot?
Maybe try tie downs of those 2 and see what the plant look like? That will open the other shoots to view and expose them to more light. If those 2 main shoots (if my eyes are not faulty) are tied down close to perpendicular....the other shoots will try to take over dominance to replace the bent ones. Think that is the reason for LST?
I tie down perpendicular and then tie down the side shoots the tie downs produced. With perpendicular...it will force shoots to grow more shoots from them. Sort of look like a flat top. All the growing tips are roughly the same height.
Hope that helps?
As said...others may offer better advice than me.
If it's an auto it will act like a tiny 6 week old plant. Autos can't be cloned because every part of the plant is on an internal clock that runs regardless of what you do to it. Haven't heard of a tried and true method of getting an auto clone to go back into veg. If anyone knows of a method please post it here, I'd love to try it!Sorry if I'm asking too many questions, but I just finished some LST and took a cutting to try and clone it. Since I'm cloning an auto late in veg, does it act like a 6 week old plant or a seedling? I feel like the answer is obvious but I have no idea.
That explains why I can't find anything on cloning autos. I'm still going to try to get it to work. And if there is a way to get an auto go back to veg, then it will stress the hell out of her for atleast 3 weeks so cloning an auto isn't really something you want to tryThat explains why I can't find anything on cloning autos. I know I won't get a plant that I can harvest out of it, but I'm very new to growing and if I can get roots I'll count it as a win.And if there is a way to get an auto go back to veg, then it will stress the hell out of her for atleast 3 weeks so cloning an auto isn't really something you want to try

here it is ...
Hi all! 1st time grower, 1st time poster (hope I'm doing this right) looking for y'all's opinions on my "Herbie". She's a 53 day old Auto White Widow, she's in her first week of flowering, all grow she has had light nutes (wanted to see what I could grow before I started adding variables).
Please let me know what you think of her. I know I've learned a lot from her even if I don't get a grand yield from her.
She's on a 16/8 schedule right now, in an organic compost soil mix, she's in her 3ft x 3ft x 6ft tent, I have had a 125W CFL (65K which is putting out 250-300W) on her throughout the grow and just recently added two 150W CFLs (27k) about 5 days ago. I have some more of these Kera Auto WWs and I plan on playing with nutes, light schedules, LST/topping and other variables with them. I don't know the soil pH, or the water pH, or what the ppm of the organic fertilizer (4-4-4) I've used is.
I'm just seeing what I can grow right now with tape water and soil. Thanks for the input and advice!
So here we are on day 68 - Week 10
King Tut is destroyed! She looks good from the top, but damn she is just destroyed! Very bad light burn. I have raised the light even higher to the 22" range and hope we can stop this bull**it!
The lower areas are fine, and the tops are scorched. I was going to flush her today thinking its nutrient burn but after more reading again it keeps pointing to light burn.
The other plant (Cheese) is fine and because she is still vegging and has been for 68 days, she has not been affected by the light...for an autoflower 68 days in veg, thats crazy, and we still have a minimum of 8 weeks of flower whenever she starts, if its a she..who knows!
Here are some photos of the damage, I will be happy if I get something to smoke off this, lesson learned, I am begging her not to die on me. I am happy that Cheese is still in Veg because we can avoid this for when she starts to flower.
I am still thinking I will flush the cheese plant because she is probably gonna enter flower soon I hope, and would be nice to get rid of that salt buildup from the last 50ish days
She looks nice from above...
Our Cheese is just growing and growing...
Day 68 Veg
I dont wanna get excited because the last time I said she was flowering, she never and it was just another set of leaves...but this is a few days since we switched to 12/12 lighting....
....so...is this a pistol in the middle next to the purple pipe cleaner? It looks kinda big for a pistol, maybe that damn thing is just growing more leaves and is laughing at me for cursing at it so much haha
Time for this cat to smoke one and hit the sack!
Smoke em if ya got em!
Man now I'm all sorts of confused. I was told by others the cheese plant is not an auto but the king tut was.Dude stop!!!!!!! No no no your not flowering because your messing with there light times. There autos bro 20-4 or 24-0 there is no switch to 12-12 to flower autos. Second that is not light burn and if it is who cares bro it's fan leaves they all die off before harvest anyway it's an auto come harvest the plants foliage is all dead or dieing because it pulls all its energy to flower. That burn looks like a nute burn of some type or you let her get to dry for to long maybe? Don't give up stay positive and that plant will not die and for heavens sake turn your timer to 20 hrs of light 4 dark and leave it that way lol. Disclaimer this is all just mho. #global420

Now your saying it's an auto...king tut is flowering. Cheese is not..but I'm seeing activity.
Since switching the lights I been getting crazy growth from cheese...the one not flowering yet...this is her stretch perhaps?
Here was yesterday
And here is today
The middle just blew up on her so much in 1 day.
For real man I'm so confused now. I'm watering her as we speak and gonna do a mini flush just to be safe if it is nutrients causing any burns.
Was also told once I switch to not go back due to hermies during flowering.
And I only changed the light times once. 4 days ago. She was running 20/4 light for 10 weeks without flowering or showing sex. For an autoflower that seems long. I'm looking at 5+ months for an autoflower start tonfinish.
I am not saying you are wrong, I'm just providing reasons why I made the switch.
If cheese is not an auto that means I have a photo and an auto in the same tent. Not ideal but the photo would get 1st priority due to yield differences.
Thanks my friend!Auto vs Photo really comes down to the Time it takes and Light time to flower, kinda
Im very cornfused on yer plants
All my Autos started flowering or showing signs at 3-4weeks max. Anything after 5-6 is NOT an Auto if no pistels are showing, IMO
a 10 week plant, with no flowers, is a Photo, Run it at 12/12 now
That said, you can run an Auto at 12/12, but it will increase the time it takes till Harvest. If you dont have to tents/light setups, this may be yer only Options
