Thanks for the info. I'll let them grow and see how they do for me. When I saw 8 week suggested time, I thought it would probably be around 10. I'm sure it will be good smoke

Two Blueberry Kush AF both at 92 days now. One topped, the other left her alone, the one that wasn't topped has another week,at least. The one that was topped has two maybe three more weeks or more. They both look awesome, so I don't really care if they take longer than the seed peeps say. First grow so I don't even know what they're going to produce.....
 
loving learning more about autos from the forum. so what you're saying is that an auto plant could pretty much be on a 24/0 light schedule ?

at this point im still on the fence about autos, obviously I'm doing my first run now but it seems for the three weeks earlier they finish then regs yield and strength is something left missing ?

You are not alone....I wish the fuckers that sell the seeds would at least be honest so I could plan my planting times and vacation times. It's not that hard to just say 70-110 days instead of 60 day bullshit.

I have 3 journals of autos on 24/0. I haven't tried any other light schedules yet. This works for me. :)
 
I just started a Sugar Mama Auto. First grow and have popped some other seeds. The Auto seeds I am only 1 for 3 on getting them to germinate. All my other seeds I am 100% germination rate :). Either way I am excited to see how the AF works out. Will be reading through this thread to see what info I can dig up.

I have a Purple Kush Auto that was grown 12/12 from seed and topped late at day 19. Buds look on schedule as far as flowering, but I did stunt the growth of the whole plant significantly by topping late and should have a small yield . I have a NL about a week behind that was topped at day 14 and is twice the size of the purple Kush. Here are some pics of the purple Kush. I will be running the same strains on 18/6 or 20/4 later on to compare.

I concur. Eeko. I have only grown one auto and that was listed as zero to hero in 59 days. I grew it with photos and timed it so the auto would have only about a week or 2 at 12/12. As it was, she didn't finish until 106 days and spent over a month at 12/12. Next auto I try I will definitely disregard what the breeders say and count on a minimum of 100 days.

oh my ... the word is out .... now what about the cannabinoids % ... would they dare to lie about that to ...? just to make a sale ... hmm i wonder ;)

One person at 420 told me to not make such a big deal out of their thc claims. That 10 to 15% I wouldn't be disappointed in it. That they test and use the highest percentage they found for them. So results may vary (as they say). In other words...not exactly a lie...just putting the best face on it as they can.

Was going to add a couple of autos and nice to know their maturing times are not necessarily accurate and make plans for it.

autos from strains that have a good potency reputation will likely produce more potent buds but its all so relative given the many factors that can influence the potency and the high ... did you know that CBD interacts with the way the body reacts to THC ...changing the high in a more euforic happy feeling ... and that the ruderalis part of autos make for higher CBD levels ... potency is relative ... its the effect that we are after .. the high
