Had a friend that's been grown for a while come over and he just did this pinch method! I don't know about this man my baby's don't look happy anymore!
Its called super cropping, they'll recover and bounce right back.

I'm going to look up this method I don't like it is like broke the branches!
I usually end up bending mine over, you want a nice flat and even canopy.

The branches will heal this area with more tissue, and it will in fact increase the size of the channels in which the plant uses to store and transport nutrients. Some believe this leads to fatter and faster growing buds. It's also a good way to train the tops to stay "out of the way" of lower branches on some strains, but other strains will not really stay "bent" over but will simply grow straight back up with a "knuckle" in the stem. The knuckle is where all this increased nutrient and water flow is said to take place.
Not sure I'd be real happy with someone just messing with my plants like that without asking but yeah, they'll be fine. Maybe better. Personally I've never been real sold on supercropping, but I don't have any real experience to say it doesn't work. I supercropeed my last harvest, got fairly big nugs, maybe I wouldn't have if I didn't supercrop, I don't know. I find it more useful for getting tops out of the way and getting better light distribution.
See how this cola is off at an angle? I pretty much just snapped the main stalk right in half. It knuckled up and propped itself mostly back upright. The first two are what the "knuckles" look like.

Howdy. I'm building a flood and drain table and I was wondering what was the better color option, black or white? In particular, X-Rays Flood Table 4x4. I was thinking white for reflection though then I read something about algae. Black just seems so desolate.
I use Black, white does seem to be prone to algae blooming.

Hmmm how much did you pay for yours? Size? They ain't cheap down under! I'm looking at $140 for a black 4x4 or $160 for the white! Bloody have to sell a kidney to afford all this crap.
Mines a 3' x 3' and cost about them same. Very expensive for what they are.

Hi guys I have a plant first grow in veg at the moment 250w hps. From seedling she's 24days just topped her 3 days ago above the 3rd node. Ph-6.3 EC-1.1 just looked at her today and noticed 2 leafs turning yellow at the edges of the plant. Is this normal or I should be worried?

Thats an option, shouldnt be hard to do.

Can you get some pics under normal lighting?
As long as its accurate and calibrated it will be fine.
