Yes sir. I am.
Hello guys I'm a medical cannabis user and have decided to grow for my personal needs I have chosen a 2×4×5 grow tent, my question is what size LED light would work best in that size tent? Thanks for any and all advice like I said I'm a newbie!
I'm going to check Amazon thank youMars Hydro 144Reflector has a footprint of 2x4, and 312 +/-10 watts @ the wall. Its what I use in the same size tent..
What size would be good for the size tent I have 2×4×5 thankshey i would not go with reflector series as they just arnt that great i have a mars hydro pro2 320 epistar its big so u could grab the smaller one of the 2 but i highly recommend the pro series
What wattage LED light should I go with and I'll just shop around thanks youYou won't find another light in that power range, with that coverage area for that price. The Pro Series is definitely a helluva lot better but it doesn't accommodate your grow space. Best you'd get in Pro is 2"x3" for $400+.
I live in California and my medical license States I can have 99 flowering now that is way too much for me I'm just honestly trying to go with three plants for personal needs, I like the light you suggested I'm probably going to go ahead and go with that as far as CO2 goes if I need it I'll run it I'm just going up in any advice you guys give me like I said I'm a newbie thanks again guysHow many plants do you want or can you legally have? Thats what you should've asked yourself before buying a tent. I have the same size tent and know with 5 gal pots in there 3 plants is pushing it. 2 is comfortable. With that said you don't wanna poison the 2 ladies you plan on growing with too much light do you? I doubt it, I also doubt you will be running co2 which is needed to run massive amounts of light. So with your surface area of 8' (2'x4'=8') in order to achieve the ideal wattage for this area of 50w per sq ft you would need 400w as Penn stated earlier in this feed. The light I suggested, which has the same footprint as your surface has more than enough watts (312w baseline for 39w per sq ft) to produce nice yields of potent cannabis.
What size would be good for the size tent I have 2×4×5 thanks
mars pro epistar 160
I bought a Milwaukee 600 pH hand-held tester from my local hydroponics store is that one ok? Thanks againThat mars reflector would be plenty and their inexpensive. Use the money you save and buy a quality PH pen.
