Put six gallons of PH 6.6 water through her last night. Runoff was 6.0. My ec pen read 0 going in and 1670 in runoff.

Joke! I tell a lot to what a plant is telling me by touch ie: damp/dry/hot/cold/soft/hard, texture of weird stuff happening. It's like smell-a-vision only I get to touch it. Lol

heavy run off. very hot soil. what have you been putting in? a plant that size shouldnt be getting more than 1.0ec or 500ppm.

I have not measured ec before yesterday. I have been using Foxfarms trio half strength. Also, a little superthrive and calmag. I am probably guilty of taking advise from too many different people.
This is my first grow, and I am learning everything as I go. I am old so I learn slowly. I think I have the PH concept now, so on to EC. Since I have been watering with 6.3-6.4 PH and my runoff is 6.0 does that mean I should bump up PH a bit in watering? Or is that an acceptable number?

I get it. Sorta like a Henway.
I am new to growing the herb, but I have been gardening for years, and one thing I have learned is to feel the mood of the plant. They let you know when they are unhappy. But just like the women of our species, knowing they are unhappy, and actually knowing how to fix it are often quite separate matters.

no put your feeds through at 1.0ec at this stage and ph as is. dont worry about run off unless you are having problems. coco would be better to grow in in my opinion. never follow bottle, always use ec/ppm meter when making feeds. it will save you alot of problems down the line. get some great white mycorrhizae watered in with next feed. that will help any root damage recover and help plant start uptaking nutes again. autos are more sensitive than photoperiod plants so im not sure how it will recover. at the stage you at it may be better to restart if thats an option for you. read my journals mate, ask anything you like in them and i will always answer, there is a lot of good info for new growers.

Exactly, go easy on any additives. Plants will tell us what they need. Additional Cal/Mag is like giving a bodybuilder peanut butter and banana milk shakes to bulk up. Someone is eventually going to be constipated.
Learn as you grow, and apply common sense with advise given.

Good luck in your grow!

So at six weeks flowering you would chop and restart?

You're welcome HtheH :Namaste:
Advanced nutrients had their lineup down to a science... Literally. Your feed schedule is right on, I see you're going a little less on the A+B. That's probably wise, I use the g/m/b line and usually do 80%feedings. BigBud and b52 are right on for this point. Add some BudCandy if you have it... But wait till you use that overdrive in a few weeks, it's amazing how much it helps late in flower. Thanks for sharing brother,

I got a question can my nutrient reservoir be sealed or does it need to be able to breath? I've got a 20 gallon tank with 4 air stones hooked up to a 4 port air pump it's got a lid hence my question

Ohioboy can't stop!! Ohioboy With Fast Buds - Let's See How Fast Exactly

I don't have a res, but if you seal it and pump air into it with the air stones, something is going to come out of somewhere.
