Gnats, I knew they can be an issue and have been keepin an eye out for em, all of a sudden there they are. Flypaper strip and a layer of sand on to of the dirt so far
 
Humidity is crazy here I been venting as much as I can, gonna have to run the ac I guess that sucks cause it aint that hot yet just very humid. Been havin issues that may or may not be related, yellowing leaves particularly on one, some but not as bad on another. Just noticed some spots appearing on the other two that looked to be fine. Started adding proper nutes to try and fix it a week ago everybody seemed to perk up cept the worse one. They are in flower a week and are startin to look like it. Everything was goin pretty good till now. Also might have a hermie but there have been no changes to the little growths they actually appear to be drying out. White hairs galore startin to pop out. Dang it.

I raised em up on blocks to get more air movin through em, have window open and exhaust fan in the ceiling. Ac will be runnin now its about time anyway. Temp runs around 75f.
 
Hey everybody, I just had a question about curing and the fresh dried buds. I just harvested my first grow, hung dry for about 6 days until some of the smaller stems snapped. They went straight into mason jars with a boveda 62 packs. I also have some cheap little hygrometers in the jars and they say its about 60% humidity.
They've been canned for about a week and they still have a chlorophyll/ hay kinda smell but when squeezed I get a nice citrus piney flavor. Will this hay smell go away after a proper cure? is this normal or did I screw something up along the way? Thanks

Have you been regularly burping the jars?

It should eventually go away. I usually burp mine for 10-20 minutes a few times a day for the first few days, then eventually only once a day for a couple weeks. After that I usually forget to check lol, but try to burp weekly. After a few weeks you should notice the hay smell disappears. :cheertwo:

I am in the middle of nowhere, a pack of gum is an hour away, I am wingin this, how they got this far is a miracle, I really should get some literature that would probly help. If I knew what bloom nutes were that would be a big help. I have internet, thats all I got goin for me but there is a vast amount of stuff out there very little of which is worded in a way a beginner can understand. I have to substitute or create stuff but first I have to know sort of whats in what I am tryin to come up with.

Ok I got low n and high p and k on the way, I am sure this attempt at a grow will proply not end as well as I would like but hopefully I am making all the mistakes now this is my learning grow. Fortunatly the strain of seeds I have seem to grow like they are on steroids so in a month in a half I can be right back where I am now only a little wiser. You guys are great and I appreciate the help, yall must go nuts watchin us newbies tryin to get through tryin to grow a little weed!
