Ase's Perpetual Fun With Coco

Lost Coast might be small but she looks great all the same. PK and PE both look like winners, can't wait to see the final product on those. You must be getting a lot of interesting smells by this point Ase?

Lost Coast is a surprise, she might end up alright after all. The Purple Envy has a deep grape smell to it now. The Lost Coast has a lemony smell to it and the Purple Kush has a deep earthy sweet smell to it. Pretty interesting array of smells for sure.

Better than walking through a men’s After Shaves/Scents floor in a department store! And I LOVE doing that! So many fond (& passionate) memories... It’s amazing what a strong trigger of memories the olfactory sense is, don’t you reckon?
Your awesome girls are looking amazing and...distinctly Ase style!? Super sticky, crazy frosty, dense nugs and the Veg ones clearly healthy and happy. Respect, Ase.

Haha. It is so true Anna. I smell certain strains and compare them to smells of the past. The Purple envy smells just like a grape jolly rancher. I've had plants that smelt like pine-sol or cleaners. Pretty fun to see what one little seed can grow (and smell) into! I love my style but I am really hoping it works out for other people that try to use it.

Flower Day 39 - The Purples

The veg girls will start getting trained in a day or two and the flower tent is fattening but two days in pics it would be hard to notice. However the pots were dry today and I wanted to clean them so I pulled the plants out and wiped the bags down with warm water to wash away any salt buildup. After today I will not really feel comfortable moving these out of the tent. The Purple's were already swaying like crazy and I had to be extra careful. Enjoy the pics I took while doing so under more normal light.

Looks fantastic Ase!! Well done brother.

Great pictures man. :thumb:

Thanks guys, I really liked these pictures. It's rare I take them out of the tent and take pictures. The less moving them the better (eliminate human error). However, I wanted everyone to see what the plants looked like under good lighting. Glad ya'll enjoyed them! Time to smoke my first bowl of the day and go stare at them some more. ;)

Awesome shots Ase!

I learned the hard way this round about moving the plants - way too many broken stems.

I'm not used to having such big colas at this stage since I normally have more colas but they are smaller. I think I'm going to have to tie some of the Purple Kush colas up to hold them in place soon. I've still got 4 weeks left and they are only going to get heavier. Moving the Purple Envy around was a lot easier because it's not as tall but those colas still swayed like crazy.

Goal is to make every plant just like the Purple Envy. It's the perfect height and evenness. The best part about the Purple Envy is that it seems to grow that way itself with little training. Blaze's Purple Envy's grew the same way.

Flower Day 41 - Veg Day 30

Today was training day for the veg tent. I haven't done anything up to this point other than topping and removing lower nodes. I can thankfully say that I managed to do all 4 plants without any issues or anything breaking. I had an issue last grow with the Cali OG. Anyways I did what I always do. Spread the 4 main branches apart and took away and big fan leaves. Tried to make sure that all 4 branches were at about the same height so hopefully the plant will disperse energy equally.

All 4 plants were at the exact same spot in terms of growth. They all had the same node and are moving at the same pace so I am pretty stoked about that. We will see how they respond to the defoliation and topping but I think all of them will be just fine. They all were aggressively vegging and shouldn't miss a beat but we will see. Technically I would love to flip these things in 12 days and have a 6 week veg from seed. It really depends on their bounce back to the training though. I can go 7 weeks in veg no problem but 6 weeks would be even better. I'll only flip when they are where I want them to be though, no need for me to rush.

Since I did a more focused post last time on the flower tent I am not going to say much this time. They are fattening and will continue to do so. The Purple Kush is going to be my best yielding plant for sure but the Purple Envy is way frostier. Enjoying both of these plants tremendously so far. They are both so different but in good ways. Lost Coast OG still seems to be doing fine even though she is weeks behind. Doesn't show any signs of nute burn or anything even though I am giving here week 6 nutes and she is really in about week 4. This is why I say you don't have to go crazy over getting the schedule exactly right. If you are in the ballpark then your plants will be just fine.

Feminised seeds company. Same breeder that does super iced grapefruit. Spanish breeder. The spaniards seem to know what they are doing. Dinafem is a case in point.

Thanks for the info brother!
