Ase's Multi-Strain Quadlining In Coco

Looking great Ase! Trying to catch up but dam I’m behind! Lol
Love the quad line and definitely going to be trying it in the future on my next grow ! ( I may be picking you brain for some pointers)
Bless up friend keep things green and great!

Awesome! It won't take too long to get caught up as I've been pretty slow on updating the last month or so. My brain is here to pick so just ask if ya need anything. I'm finding that most of the #Quadsquadders are getting to the answers before I even can but it's good to know there are people to pass this training style on. When you start up on your quadlining in your next grow drop a link here so we can all follow along. There is a small army of quadliners that tend to follow each other and all the new quadsquadders.

I dig the signature too man! Love when quadliners represent! I've had a couple people stumble upon that hashtag in people's signatures and it encouraged them to look into quadlining. Now they use it and won't look back. Appreciate the compliments and I'll be waiting for your future quadline.

It's going to be impressive!

The ATFs have so huge buds! Truly impressive and wonderful to watch. Thanks for sharing Ase!

The ATF clones are in 3 gallon pots and I am in my element with them. I'll never grow anything in coco again that is bigger than a 3 gallon airpot. Well, that isn't 100% true either. I'll likely grow my one plant gorilla glue (future grow) in a 5 gallon airpot but it is going to occupy a whole tent. Since I personally like having 4 different strains going at a time, after that one plant tent grow is done is likely the last time you see me use anything larger than a 3 gallon. Unless it's outdoors as I'll likely use them for my tomatoes next spring.

Thanks for the kind words of encouragement! It looks to be one of the most successful training methods and I love that’s it’s a “screen-less scrog!” You’ve done some beautiful work ase and I’ll be sure to tag along and ask along my up coming journey! Cheers and happy days :passitleft:

No more than 3 gallons because you ve found more isn't necessary to achieve the results you want?

Yeah. I'm only watering once a day right now and plants are 5 or so feet tall. I can't have any bigger plants really so why use bigger pots? 3 gallon airpots are just perfect for doing 4 plants in a 4x4' tent. Coco is almost dry when I go to feed everyday and I'm getting almost zero runoff. They just work really well for the way I do things. I'd challenge anyone who said they have to use 5 gallon airpots in a 4x4' tent to achieve good results. The two ATFs are in 3 gallon and the Panama is in a 1.5 gallon and my tent is as full as it can get. In 5 gallon pots I never see them drying out enough and I have to change up how much feed/water I am giving them on the daily.

I love it! Love the idea of daily feeding without runoff. It makes things so simple with a auto watering system! Plus it allows like you say not to have to change how much feeding etc.. Everyday. I m sold! Thanks for sharing!

For the most part I might get a very thin layer of runoff that coats the the plastic saucer and that is it. Within about 30 minutes it's all soaked back in and the saucer is pretty much dry and that's when I know it's perfect. I do have a wet/dry vac so if I need to flush I can and just sit there and soak it up so the saucer can't overflow. I still do a "flush" with florakleen but really it's just a large watering (water only) with florkleen added and then I just back off the nutes by a lot for the last week. About 3-4 days left I just give straight water until the end. Moral of the story is only once a grow do I on purposely get runoff and that's for a mini flush.

That's funny cause because one of my pump had stopped working I had thought about investing in wet vac as well! I may invest in one for my next grow to make flush easier! It can be so useful in case of necessity to flush or remove any excess. Thanks for sharing again! I like how as time goes by we get knowledges to make things better. I love this forum! Thanks again!

Day 77 Flower ATFs - Day 69 Multi-Strain Veg - Day 26 Flower ATF Clones/Panama

It's kind of funny to think about but really not much has changed in 10 days. I'm at a bit of a standstill waiting for my ATFs to finish and my Multi-Strains to be uppotted and flipped. The Multistrain girls look pretty similar. I did do a heavy defoliation a few days ago but they are just begging to be in a bigger pot. About 2 weeks left before I can do that though.

The ATFs are showing more red hairs as well as fattening a bit still but they just keep slowly chugging along. I decided that I will give them straight water for a few days at the end of September and then I'll chop them down.

The one tent that did have a noticeable difference was the ATF clone tent. I did my typical defoliation/ cutting off all the branches that I knew were going to be weak so the plant could focus it's long term energy on the main colas. I will need to tie these up and I need to do it in the next couple days. The ATF on the right is about 5 ft tall from the base and the one in the back left is about 5 ft 6 inches tall. The Panama now only has 4 colas and it's about 4 ft 6 inches tall. Still interested to see how it finishes in that little pot but I'm glad I did what I did. It wouldn't have fit in the 2x4' tent now with how big the other 3 have gotten.

Everything is so fine but the ATF ase, I want to dive into them. I have to try them one day.

Hey Ase! Just wanted to let you and anyone else know that my second journal is up and running. Love to have you along brother! Link is in signature. The G13 Haze one!

Looking Delish! Give your girl a high five from me please and maybe a hug but no more! :D

Hahahaha I just noticed your signature! Beginner lvl lololol Welcome to the club:)

GeeGee and I will be watching and waiting for that!:popcorn:

I’ll likely be smoking her and watching lol:D I’m never growing another big plant again! Hahaha I can’t wait to see you grow a monstah

All airpots that are 5G or more are already in the shed for next year:D
This 10 G geopot that GeeGee is in will work great for potatoes next year!

I'm happy everything is going smooth with you, Ase! Keep it going!

I ditched the RDWC as it needs very constant cleaning and I'm certainly not that kind of person, since I am running a few ops on my own I needed the less time requiring method so I'm now trying rockwool a.k.a. Cap'n Style.

I have battled russet, broad, cyclamen mites and root rot in the last month so I'm starting all over now. I have also turned my ops on perpetual so we'll see what happens. If I find a safe way to upload photos I may start a journal after all..

Day 82 Flower ATFs - Day 31 Flower ATF Clones/Panama

Finally got to my veg tent and hung a net in it for support of the really long colas. Things were already beginning to flop from the weight of the buds, and they aren't even that big. I also bent all of the tops of the biggest plant in the back. We will see if that helps but otherwise I would expect light burn so I feel like it was the right move. The net will support the bends if they never recover so shouldn't be a big deal if it really doesn't do much to help.

The ATF clone that I most happy about. She is so pretty.
The Panama with it's 4 branches. I wonder what yield will be off her in the end but looks good for being in that small pot.
The bent colas of the lankiest ATF. Will be fun to see how she recovers.

The scrog ATFs are starting to finally feel like they are coming to an end. Even the funky front left one is starting to swell and gain more and more frost. Hairs are finally turning on this one too. Still watching trichs and no amber yet on any of them. Either way I'll be chopping them down in 10 days.

Lookin Great Ase! You’re gonna have so much ATF to smoke on! Lol

Yeah I was going through my inventory today and I realized I am down to maybe 10 strains but only about 3/4 oz of each. ATF will be down in about a week and properly ready in about 5 weeks. I have plenty of CBD but it's not the kind of smoke I really like. I can tell the effects but I'd rather be on the THC end of things. Most of my uses for it are for anxiety and pain/relaxation. I'm highly interested in the creams and lotions I'm about to make with CBD but other than that, not really my jam. With that being said, I'll have to ration wisely. My next 3 girls will be the two ATFs and the one Panama so even more ATF coming up the line. The next 3 girls after that are all different but I am looking at about 12 weeks out for finishing them and another 4 weeks for drying and curing. That'll be 2019! Lol... Truth is I'm spoiled but this is my life now so I'm used to it. My typical planning really got thrown off when I switched a bunch of things up and it has been well worth it. This is the ramifications of that decision though.

It was only a few years ago I was still scraping pieces when I ran out and couldn't find a dealer. Now I guess the worst option is going to a dispensary and paying their prices but my how things have changed fast for me in a short period of time. Also I am pretty interested to see what I pull from the ATFs, I think it's going to be some good numbers.
