Ase's Multi-Strain Quadlining In Coco

Thanks Flash! They are finishing and I am very happy with this whole grow. It was nearly perfect and I'm 99% sure I'll finally hit my goals and likely surpass them.
Hope you will! When you succeed we all succeed!

Day 67 Flower Tent B

Here is the last picture of all of these girls together. The Dinafem Critical Cheese comes down today. It's the one in the back left that doesn't get good enough light in my pictures but the colas are gigantic. I'll do individual posts on the plants when I take them out to trim. It should be an easy one to trim. Maybe I'll go for 2 plants today but likely not.

I will say this. I am very proud of this grow. When I look at this picture I remember back 2 years ago when I hadn't started growing yet and was just researching things out. I didn't want to win contests or anything, that wasn't my dream. My dream was to have pictures where there are big colas everywhere in a tent. No room to spare and makes you start salivating. This is my first time really having a perfect grow with 4 huge plants. I've had many many grows where one plant would stay small and the others would be huge, but not all 4 living up to their potential. It's part of the multi-strain life I suppose but it got frustrating so many times.

What you don't see in the picture is that there is 4-5 big colas on every plant that have finally taken the plunge and bent over. Perfect timing. So add about 20 more colas into that picture and that's really what it is like but even without them, I finally got my picture :).

Appreciate you still taking the time to check my progress when you got soooo much work to do!. Hope you got a house elf there assisting. Never seen a criticalxcheese before though. FULL smoke report once shes ready brother.

How tall are the girls roughly?
Before they started sagging 3 of the 4 were about 44" tall from top of pot to top of cola. The Critical Cheese got up to about 41".

I am experimenting with my light distances and I kept them really low in the other tent and they didn't stretch as much as I like them to. It may or may not effect the yield but I will see on this other run I've been documenting here. Who knows, maybe I will love them this way. I just am wondering how the big colas will do all so compact. I don't want them growing into each other into a blob and I'm slightly worried about that at the moment.

I want plants that end up to be about 36" tall. I think these were a tad too tall (but not as tall as some I've grown ex: Purple Kush, Blue Dream), but it in no way was it detrimental or too close to my lights or anything. Just a little too stretchy.

I often forget to do smoke reports so remind me in a month when its cured and perfect! I will include more of a grow report when I chop her down. I honestly spend very little time in my grow area. Maybe 5 minutes tops per day for both tents.

Dinafem Critical Cheese

I'm already realizing that I'm not going to get my usual trimmed on the stalks photos like I normally do. The colas are so heavy. Things are really tough to move around without watching colas just start to fall over now. The Critical Cheese was likely an award worthy plant but I'm not going to get much better of a shot than this.

On the growing side this plant was an absolute breeze. For the sized colas she had, she really held up well until the final week. She finished properly and has an incredible deep grape smell to her. The bud to leaf ratio is phenomenal. As you can see in the picture, there just isn't a whole lot of leaf to trim off. I don't think I've defoliated anything in this tent in 6 weeks. I have stopped taking early samples of my plants so I have no idea on the smoke at all but in terms of growing this was one of the easiest plants I have ever grown and the yield is going to be really good.

Wish I could do that. My waters a ways away from my plans so even just watering takes a while!

Find bigger buckets and make batches of nutrients that will last you the whole week. Then you just have to dip something into them like a pitcher and feed the plants until the batch runs out. Time is money my friend. I'm sure there are plenty of ways to be able to cut down on your time. Also with a little experience things speed up so you'll get there!

I have started finding ways around it. Ive got 2 big backpack sprayers that I fill up. Only found one of them today though so im gonna use the bigger one for plain water and the smaller one for nutes. Also can just take the spray nozle off and bobs ya uncle. Chuck it on ya back feed evenly around the girls. cos my plants are so low aswell the long tube allows me to get right in there. Even to the other side of the plant which with the scrog in place woulve been difficult otherwise (the scrog will be high up though and Im gna raise the light and start notching up some dark hours to stretch em to the scrog a little)

You are a phenomenal inspiration to us all. I hope I continue to improve. My first time through was a little stressful in the aspect of just not knowing what to expect. You helped me out a lot. Thank you for that.

That is exactly how mine ended up last time. This time I moved the lights up a bit and they are a little taller and more lanky. I will have to see how they finish out to form an opinion. Where I had the lights last time they filled out pretty well. These have a longer node spacing now that they are done stretching.

Trust me. We will keep bugging you for a report. :passitleft:

In 2 years how many grows have you had? Just proves how easy growing is really with a bit of love and time and care.

This one I am taking down will be my 7th photoperiod grow (I think) and I've got some autos mixed in there. I'd say 9 grows total with 4 plants each. I think anyone can get results like I get if they copy what I laid out in the beginning of my journal. I always say it's not rocket science. I did do a ton of research before I started growing but all that is in the beginning in the summaries. Talk about easy!

Going to be interesting to see the weights off this harvest. This is the one of the best harvests i have seen period. Great job man.

I'm interested too but I am pretty sure it will be a good chunk higher than my last and my last was like 15.5 oz. Appreciate all the other kind words Sam!
