Arteekay's Second Grow - Autos & Feminized - Mixed Strains

Max! There you are. Welcome back. :hugs: I know, aren't they great? One of my favorite stops.

August is kicking my ass, work is crazy busy, family obligations, and a new kitten are taking up all my 420mag time lately.

I'm still taking pictures and filling out our excel journal every day, but this kitten is just too damned adorable to ignore for long.

The Lemon Skunk is a must order for me. Watching this one grow makes my skin tingle. :laughtwo:

She's a completely different plant than last time, easily three times the size already. We'll see if she finishes anywhere near as well as our first did.

Not so much of a train wreck anymore. This is a great save. What a magnificent stand of colas. :high-five:

I'm in awe of how beautifully you control all those canopies. If I could hit you with double reps I would.

She's got 10 days left by CKS's schedule, we had planned to take her this weekend, but I think we might let her run out to at least the 10, maybe even longer. I change my mind by the hour so who knows.

Train Wreck looks awesome, getting close. It's a joy to see what I'd like to grow but never have the time. I get to live vicariously through you tow. Great job.

I can't wait to try another, and another Amnesia Haze as well, and a few Bomb Seeds Strains, and and and...

I've seen your plants, you grow time is exceptional bud. :high-five:

Girls are looking fantastic !!!!!! Hope a few of ours are grow up to be like yours :-)

I just popped by your garden and you're set to do every bit as well and I'd be on better.

I'm really looking forward to watching your girls finish.

WOW, so impressive! Your plants look amazing :goodjob::Love:

Thanks WillysMom, it's so easy even Jaybiz and I can do it. :)

Those buds on your scrog plant look enormous.

We actually don't have a scrog going at the moment, there's the airpot with the frame JB built for her, but she never got big enough to make use of the potential we saw for it. Next time I'm thinking of putting an Early Miss in it, we've have the most success with that strain so we may be able to actually compare the airpot and fabric pots.

Lookin good over here..interested in seeing the trainwrecks finish. .
Just had 10 myself pop up I started..

10? Nice!!! Ours was an experiment that went a little bad, so I'll be looking forward to seeing what a Train Wreck is supposed to look like.

August 15 (Monday) Update.

Autos: Train Wreck is 66, Quarter Pounder is 54, our second Lemon Skunk is 39 days, our second Red Poison is 15, and finally our third Northern Lights 14 days old. They are on an 20/4 schedule and are 15-21 inches from their lights.

Photos: POW 33 and White Widow are both 18 days old today.

Temps remain 82-85 during lights on, down to 69 during their night. Humidity is 50%

First day with the new kitten. Unbelievable adorable. No question Bengals are a stunning breed.

Anyway, due directly to spending the night kitten fishing with a toy, I didn't get my update posted.

I timed it right! By the time my red poison breaks ground it will be about 20 days behind yours. I am poised to follow your training steps as you take them so mine has a chance to look as beautiful as yours. Im excited to see what it will do in hydro and to have your soil grow as a comparison.

Thanks Millertm, I think we have our nute situation back under control.... for now.

Arteekay, still killin it. Even more now, if I can believe my eyes.
That LS2 is a looker. I'll be back to check on that.

Peace

Holy crappage! Yeatster!!!! How's it been bud? I feel like I haven't heard from you in a long while, no?

All is well?

This one is staying just incredibly short. Doesn't change our training schedule or pattern at all, but it's interesting. So many nodes so close together this early can create airflow issues we've found, so I might consider "doing something" about this this time. I'll keep ya posted.

Herb. Love it! My girl has been named Charlie by family consensus. I like it and she's already answering to it, so that's her name.

Love the kitty picture! My cat comes with me all the time to see "the girls". He takes bites out of the bottom leaves of the flowering plants. It's good for him and the Co2 is good for the plants! Win-Win! :thumb:

When you read that Bengals are busy, believe it. Unbound energy, I swear if I had a high speed camera we'd find out she vibrates. She has stolen both my heart and almost all my free time, and I don't mind one tiny bit. Tonight she'll meet the resident 6+ year old Himalayan, tomorrow the dog and Jaybiz who have been away on vacation since Tuesday morning.

That said, I may have to hire an assistant to handle the rest of my life, including this journal. I figure I have maybe another hour before she's awake again, and I'll play her hard to hopefully get a decent night's sleep. I likely won't make it around to anyone else's garden, and I do miss them all. May all your buds be frosty and solid folks.

She's my little Charlie. Endlessly adorable and entertaining, but I did underestimate her energy level. Need a lot more toys and whatnot.

It's amazing how much money you can spend on toys ! They love rolled up aluminum foil balls, boxes and any kind of toothpaste caps (or something that size), Do you have one of those laser pointers? That will wear her out!

Buy her one of the toys that's a track with the ball that rolls round and round and round. The one we purchased for our cats had a center piece for scratching that you dumped some catnip on. The cats played with that toy more than any other we ever got.

She's absolutely beautiful arteekay. She's stolen our hearts too. I see she's taking up all of your free time. :laughtwo: I came over here in a panic that I might have accidentally unsubbed one night falling asleep while surfing. Lol! Have fun loving that little furry ball of wonder.

I love the LS2 got a nice amount of stretch and looks like she will fill in nicely!
I caution against the THC bomb. I was definitely not a fan. The yield was good, terps and taste not so much. Tutankhamon on the other hand is pretty damn sweet. Great flavor and a sledgehammer hit! Or of course anything by Dynastygenetics. Professor P literally never gets anything wrong!

Interesting Shiggity. Maybe this is one of those times when we can say that the soil may have made a difference. I got decent yield for a beginner,(2 oz) and the terps and potency were marvelous, improving significantly over the month cure she got before we finished her. She was so tasty that we ate most of her as baked buds and had a blast.

You don't grow in LOS arteekay. I'll be interested in hearing how yours turns out. The Tut is a proven kick in the head.

I think my luck has just been better with boutique strains. Small grow breeders that give it every ounce of effort and don't rest on their laurels. some of these big name seed companies just don't do it for me. But Dynasty, BOG, Bohi, KOS, Dusted Bud, these aren't your fly by night pollen chuckers or big seed companies. They put every ounce of their heart and soul to the business. Look them up. You will find some amazing work being done.

I think I put my heart into growing them it's true. But I like to think Incan go farther with better starting material. I am a broken record but Dynastygenetics is on point. You all will see from Stage's, Flowerfarmer's, and Photos grows that it's not Shiggity doing all the magic. These seeds are magic beans. When I got Twister back it was awesome! Nothing ever compared to her. Some of these phenos I have are cracking that armor. I'm no longer interested in monoculture. I need all these strains in my life. Agent Orange is the most ridiculous complex citrus, pineapple fields is...well...legit pineapple juice. I have had so many exclaim," How the F%#K did you get this to smell like pineapple juice???". This new Bluniverse strain I am growing has more trichs than anything but Huck Kush V3 (another dynasty strain lol). Sorry rambling...a bit high...I get chatty and semi aggressive sometimes making my point lol.

Sorry for pulling a disappearing act there all, any free time is being spent with Charlie the Bengal, and working on getting her integrated with our house and other pets. She is so adorable and entertaining it's nearly impossible to stop playing with her. Another short couple of weeks and she'll be underfoot and overhead in every space we have.

We also lost our air conditioner for the third time this summer, and during a two day hot spell as well. We had to lose a couple lights out of each of our tents to keep the temps down, but I think we survived it ok. Of course us big guys don't sleep well in 85+ degree temps, particularly with a new kitten around to randomly claw or gnaw on just about everything that happens to be in their path.

There's no lack of toys around here, but there is a lack of furniture. We really needs some shelves/window perches, and a lot more than the one tree and two small scratching posts we have now.

Thanks Sue, I'm quite smitten honestly. She's awesome.

She's a lot taller than our first, and early indications are that she'll be good and frosty, so I've got some high hopes for our second Lemon Skunk.

We've got quite a few photos still left to try out, and Biz is working hard at getting us out of the tents and into our new space. Part of that is to accommodate a space for clones. We're going to take a few from our CH9 POW33 and CKS WW, no idea if we'll keep either but we need to get that started. Anyway, the point of that all was that we're set on photos for the time being, but looking to try out more autos than we have on hand. I'm just assuming Tutankhamon is a regular photo?

Our newest seed to pop is another CKS Train Wreck. I wanted to do one in our usual fabric pot and training style and see how she makes out. Our current Train Wreck smokes pretty damned well from our early sample taken last week.

Yeah, back off with all that knowledge, experience and insight. That kinda shit is just not welcome around here.

Ramble on, always, my brother.
