And now have to run back down and stare for a while again. There's at least two that likely won't see next week and i gotta get my leering in beforehand.

I keep thinking she's really close, but then I look at pictures and she's still got a ton of white hairs. She's being flushed with weak nutes only now, but I think she's got it in her to go another week to 10 days on what she's got left in her leaves.

Don't think Dark Devil will see the weekend.

I need your advice because I noticed that you have trimmed the lower branches, and that's something I began to research but did not find specific infos for Autos..

- Do you think I can also do this securely on my autos, ie without stressing them (which can stop growth etc - obviously, it works ),
- and what time is the best to do it ?
- any other recommendation of yours not to mess things up ?

We use a lot of advice you've given us and it's much appreciated It's great having experienced growers like yourself watching over our girls like guardian angels. Gonna have to smoke a joint (or 12) with you one day.

I can't disagree KS, I spend the longest staring at her right now, although the Jack Herer auto is catching my attention again as well. She's getting so frosty compared to all our other girls so far. Can't help but think it's the DNF bloom fortifier at least to some degree. Only way to tell for sure is to grow another Early Miss I guess.

It really took us taking a couple through to harvest without any training to see for ourselves exactly what we wanted to get rid of, and how early. Candi and Britney were a PITA to trim.

We didn't lollipop the Dark Devil at all, but will next time. So far my opinion is I will train and lollipop every plant I grow, photo or auto.

For these girls, I wanted to take the growth I would be wanting to prevent as soon as it emerged, so that she didn't waste any energy on something that was just going to be trimmed. By the time they are into mid-flower I'm just taking leaves that are spent.

Best recommendation I have is to go slow, you've got weeks to work on her, there's no need to get it all done in one sitting.

We're almost full on growers, still gotta get one photo through to harvest. Jaybiz is already talking about another light for the photos, which leads to another tent of course. So much for him being the one with restraint. LOL

March 9 Update. JH, CR, and NEM are 70 days old. DD is 59 days old. R2 is 6 days old. CR is 20 days since her flip to 12/12.

CR is on 12/12 now 10-11 inches below the Spider x4, Temp is 81 and RH is 45% at the canopy, 79 and 49% at the top. Overnight was 68 and 55%

Temp for JH, NEM, DD and R2 peaked at 88 today with RH at 44% during lights on, and 68 and 56% overnight. They are on an 18/6 schedule and are 12-14 inches below a pair of Mars II 900s. R2 is off to the side and is about 29 inches from the lights.

• JH was soaked with 6 liters of 75% strength DNF Bloom A+B,GO CaMg+, and DNF Bloom Fortifier at 867ppm and 5.7 PH
• R2 was given 400ml of bubbled tap water at 5.7 PH in a golfball sized circle around her stem.

Our Dark Devil is finishing up her last weak nute feeding and is looking like she'll finish on Saturday. Very excited to see her naked and hanging. New Early Miss is fading, but still looks to me like she'll make the following weekend.

I'm thinking of trying to simulate the accident Britney had at 21 days on a future Early Miss, by topping and trimming all fan leaves in one sitting. This time though following that up with training and lollipopping up into flowering. Brit was massive but could have been so much more had she gotten more light on more leaves.

Really curious to see what I get off New Early Miss. She has no popcorn at all, everything is a solid nug.

I don't remember if I've discussed this here before, but my last run I started using Doc Bud's HB Kit, and as a result Graytail mentored me through the first run. As an act of honor and appreciation I decided to grow one of his favorites, the Carnival, and determined to try to train using his method, which includes, not lollypopping, but an aggressive stripping of the lower regions - we laughingly refer to it as her bikini wax - just as she got flipped. No popcorn to speak of, just massive, solid buds that never fail to please.

It's a technique I highly recommend. Strip her at flip and keep those lower areas naked all the way through flowering.

I love the idea of experimenting with the over-the-top defoliation. I swear, we're all going to discover the point in our own grow cycles to torture our darlings so they produce more resin. I worry about us sometimes.
