Nothing better than gardening with a pup :thumb: fellow marshydro tent and light user as well, I love the natural look of your gals plus such a tidy tent. :goodjob:
Subbed too :blunt:

What's the matter you couldn't find a light to smack her into? Lol it was a sensible idea RTK. Now you can pull the lights closer to one another. The closer the lights are the more they can mix intensity for the other side of the garden. When they are so different in height you lose the benefit of the blending of light intensity in the middle.

Your dog was being smart. Didn't want to be led away from its post into an ambush. No chasing squirrels they were staying on post, not to be distracted from unimportant things!

Congrats on your progress. Your girls look amazing.

Thanks MzSiroz, it's the most rewarding gardening I've ever done.

He's a keeper, loves to be underfoot though, I've tripped on him a dozen times.

I gotta cut the label off the tent, no free advertising! ;-)

Bahaha, I was waiting for someone to make that comment. Nope, thought I'd take a more measured approach this time.

So much for no training, low or high.

Lol does your cat try to go in the tent mine does he likes try eat the leaves.

I gave her a squirt in the ass with RO water the first time she tried to get in the tent. Wanted her scared of it. hehehe

Haha the dog photos made me laugh out loud. I've been one week without my puppy (he caught the early flight outta town) and I'm going into withdrawal. No one will notice if I just steal one from the dog park right? Thursday can't come soon enough!

Oh man, it's weird when he's out of the house for an hour at the groomers, couldn't imagine not having him around now.

I've been sucked into this journal.. it's the Jumanji of journals and I'm just in time to get to the plethora of animals part. Can't wait for harvest.

Great work guys

The Jumanji of Journals. I may just have to change my signature, I love it.

There's only one more hairy animal around here, A Himalayan cat.

Oh, and of course JayBizzle.

Thanks all, truly appreciate anyone at all taking the time to read my rantings or look at our girls.

Rev and Droopy were ready to be fed and watered. We've noticed a touch of clawing on a few leaves, so we're going to back the nutes down a bit.

Droopy has her previously pale leaves now turning red/brown. We flushed and fed her. First actual flush on any of them.

  • Rev was soaked to run off with DNF Gro A+B and Calmag+ at 800ppm and 5.7 PH.
  • Droopy was flushed with 22 liters of tap water (untested ppm and PH) and ended with DNF Bloom A+B and calmag at 600ppm and 5.8 PH.

Family pics (after watering, later in the evening than usual):

Britney (38 days old, 19 days post decapitation)

Trudy (46 days old):

Tall Northern Lights (46 days old):

Rev (35 days old) grew 2-3 inches over the weekend:

Candi (46 days old, one day post supercropping):

Droopy (46 days old) stayed at 15 inches and is looking terrible:

Here's her discoloration:

Thoughts? We flushed and fed half strength nutes.

It's about 78f during lights on, and 68 with lights off. Remember Remo turning his A/C down to 70 to induce purpling, but since it's the only one I didn't consider it.

She was the most consistently overwatered for the first two or three weeks of her life, so she has that going for her.

Everyone is doing excellent.

Tonight's pics.

Family:

Rev (36 days):

Brit (39 days):

Droopy (47 days). I'm shocked with how well Droopy took her flushing and half strength nutes yesterday, I expected her to look like complete crap today. Not so, she stood right up.

Trudy (47 days)

Tall Northern Lights (47 days).

Somehow missed Candi for her shot today, she grew another inch for her now tallest branch, does seem to finally be thickening up rather than stretching as much.

Another two need watering tonight, Trudy and the tallest Northern Lights. Both got around 90% DNF Bloom A+B and half strength Calmag+ at 860ppm and 5.7 PH.

Looks great, how are finding having that many plants in that area?

When we started on Halloween night we didn't have clue what to expect, and thanks to this forum and the help we've received my wildest expectations have been well surpassed.

It's starting to get tight for sure, the original plan was if it got too crazy we'd pull the worst one or two out and stuff them in a bedroom to finish. That was before the second tent and additional two new mars ii 900w lights, so we can likely move one or two out into the other tent and let them finish with only the spider.

It's far more work than I think either of us expected as well, although it's so incredibly rewarding it doesn't feel like work yet. It's taking longer than it should as we're still working on developing our systems, procedures, tools, and whatnot. That's time I could be spending staring at 'em more.

I know, right. It's A Crazy Hobbie But It's Fun And rewarding

I'll be away for two nights over the Christmas holidays, it's going to be the longest 48 hours I've spend since I was a kid.

Sooo close now, just another couple weeks... ARRGHGH

Brooooooooooooooooooooooooooos!!!!!! That's what I'm talking about. Your attitudes and practices, you are now hooked and there's no stopping you now. Get that kit fellas. Start cooking some soil. We are the Borg. You will be assimilated....cough cough I mean lets have some fun!

Too late for the next grow of four, two autos and two feminized, but the one after I'm thinking. Although I wanna try DWC, etc., etc., etc. as well.

I need another tent or two. Don't tell Biz I said that.

Re: Arteekay's 1st Grow - Sunshine #4 - Spider x 4 - Crop King Autoflowering Mix Stra

I haven't read your journal in few days and the changes your girls have gone since I last visited your journal is amazing. They are so beautiful. You might have told this already but what is your light cycle now and what is the finishing time the seed producer is predicting?

I have this little thing where I must give people advises even if I'm not so educated in that particular subject. So here I go again. :sorry:

I think that purple color in droopy might be genetic or it might even be temperatures or it might be root problems. You got a happy looking bunch of girls except for droopy. To me she has been looking little sad for a while now. It is strange she just looks the same. Not better or worse just the same old droopy. I might be over thinking here.

I know this may not be the best of my ideas but in your situation I would check the roots. Just lift your girl carefully out of her pot if you can and see whats going on. If you want to get even more daring you could squeeze some liquid out of your medium and check pH and EC.

That's all folks. :ciao:
