Arctic Bowl's 1st Ever Attempt At A Grow Journal

Lmfao, Duggs & Penny
Well if your riding on a sled it’s not much work........unless you get stuck, if your stuck, the fun of riding leaves very quickly and the sadness of digging your self out sets in

Sounds like a good time though, Duggs twisting fatties, Penny stocking up firewood and the rest of us riding up the mountain to see if we can hear the lights and catch a glimpse of a booty or a wanker   temps could freeze gerbils nuts so best to leave him at home Penny lol. Good laughs gang, good laughs!! I can hear Sweet Sue now, “ holly shit!, he had his wanker out”  Sorry Sue, just struck me funny lol.

Blessed Buds our friends and be well :passitleft:

Great evenin to ya 's way the fug up there. Ok,..OK..just how close to the circle are ya's D ? Wait,..lemmy ask ya this first...LMFAO,...how close is the nearest suitable airport ...from your location?...:thedoubletake:
Yes, Penny and i will guard the fort...that's what they say , right!!:rofl: ...but,...but,..it would be summer....right?:high-five:

Lmfao Duggs, well you know if it’s summer here then the only light you will see is sun light  it doesn’t get dark really, a little dusk sorta for like an hour but not dark. As far as an airport, by dog sleds it’s like an hour , from our Igloo:rofl:. If we drive an automobile it’s like 20 min  We are about 200 miles give or take from the Arctic Circle and summer time is bug time and we have zero shortage of wonderful biting bugs to enjoy  skeeters are freakin outrageously thick, another great bug is the white socks......those lil falkers will make you want to wash your self in battery acid  Ever see a herd of Caribou running? Well there running to get the falk away from the white socks. They bite and lay eggs in the caribou, when they bite a human, you will scratch the skin right off and bleed just to try and make it stop itching  But here in the Big City of North Pole  mostly skeeters but not to bad and some nats. Oh yea and bug dope, yup, the bugs love it, almost as much as the Grizzlies love tourists:rofl:

 pissin myself, you guys are killing me  Penny, right after ya hit the lotto check on hotel prices in the summer months up here  better off to rent a house lmfao. It’s so fun to watch folks visiting wear jackets in the summer lol, I’m sure they all think we’re nuts but we love having everyone enjoy this State. When the winter tourist show up....... they look like the Michelin tire man with poofy winter jackets and snow pants, bunny boots, giant ass mittens and hats  Hell, when it warms up to -20 you’ll see locals in shorts running around lol, no kiddin either, true as true could be. 1st -30 day is BBQ day no matter what lol.

I could deal with the critters but the older i get the more i hate winter. .

Right there with you on that one Penny!! Summers are hard to beat up this way unless it’s a rainy or Smokey one but the winters......they get harder and harder every single year. Seems like a good chunk of our short summers are spent getting ready for the next winter. The dark for most of the day and cold temps and snow get old. Always look forward to February because we start packing on the daylight hours, still cold as ever but seems to be more tolerable with more daylight

I lived in the "Interior" for 40 years. Did all that cabin-building, wood gathering and water-hauling and wore my knees completely out. I had no choice but to give up my parcel of land and move further south.

AB is not exaggerating one bit! Not at all bad here in "Anchortown," tho. It's as far south as I ever want to be, however. I got spoiled by the easier winters, but I do like to pretend I'm still living as an Alaskan. ;-)

I didn't get into the hobby until it became legal, though, and I was already down here. I coulda had a friggin' greenhouse in the woods and no one would have been able to spot it, even from the air. Oh, well. I get by the best I can in the city.

:shhh:

Hey ABizzle!

Happy Friday. Looks like we officially got our first snowfall haha. Barely. Haha! I know ya said you have a busy weekend hope it's something fun at least. Have a good one bud.

Evening to ya gang :-)
J and I harvested one of the Lilly's tonight, 1st slow poke lol, we didn't take the extra slow poke girl.........yet lol. I'm thinking this one is our top yielder so far. I do have to say these Lilly's are the stickiest girls we have done so far. Have two QC testers for our HB girls now...... so far the Lilly has gotten good feedback for quality of smoke so that's pretty awesome, good on you Doc!!! I can see these putting out some very awesome yields in the hands of the pros ( you go Duggs, need ya to give us some lessons :-). ) so here's a pic of our take off of Lilly number 5......... washed and hanging for the dry. (Duggs ya gotta wash ur Buds bruda)

Damn scissors got so sticky tonight they wouldn't close, 1st for us. Great having these sticky Buds for sure and I'm thinking this is a keeper for us. Can't wait to make some caps from this Lilly, should have a great yield on CCO for us and friends.

Hey Dabber, you blast any of that trim yet? If not would ya mind if I sit in an watch how it's done? Inquiring minds wanna know

Haven't been able to find one of the gaskets for the dang extraction tube... I may have to order another. I will take a look again tomorrow and I still may be able to run it without it. I'll definitely keep you posted though

Great morning to ya :-)
Well we were able to get the heat sinks ordered this morning from HLG, boards should be shipping Monday so, now it's deciding on drivers for them.....lol time to pick GT's brain so we don't get the wrong ones

Have a great Sunday!

Blessed Buds our friends and be well :passitleft:

Excellent D. ! Looking forward to seeing what ya got planned. I'm happy your stoked about your Lilly's.:high-five: Please let me know how you like her effect would ya. She just seem to hit all the right notes for me...not too strong , very clean and uplifting ,..but not racey , at all.
She stayed fairly short which was a bonus for a near 100% sativa. Trimming her was a breeze with a very hi calyx to leaf ratio.
Chillin........dry white wine.....Blueberry Twist (with a nice cure)...got a short break...:surf: here before i gotta start supper for them, the boys , that is...then after drive them home and be back here by 6.... get ready to go to my hockey,...30 min. drive. Get home at 950 tonight. FFS's , this first night at hockey...yikes...gonna be draggin my lil ass all over tomorrow,....and Tuesday!..Bahhh!
Have a real nice night AB,,,and friends too!:Namaste:.......:passitleft:

Going to chop the slow poke Lilly down today and get her washed and hung up to drip dry. Then we're going to be making some CCO for a fellow night cap lover for recreational use. He's a bit more "experienced " user so my 15:1 night caps I personally like, he needs two of them to get the effect he enjoys ( two put me on my ass) so I'm thinking of doing some at either 10:1 or 5:1 for him but he will get the choice of course. Only part I don't enjoy as much when making CCO is the boil down in the rice cooker........mind numbing for me because not much thinking goes into this and it takes like 1.5 hrs so...........lol. Like to time it so I can be chopping while it's boiling down so I'm not just sitting around like a log doing nothing.
We did get 2 trim bins.......look cool, I'll see if they were worth it or not. Can't be any worse than using tin trays I don't think but guess I'll find out pretty soon  I could see them being useful for dry trimming Buds with the screen to allow the good stuff to drop through so you can collect it, but for wet trimming I'm not seeing that being overly useful but I'll find out soon.
Last plant in the flower tent........last pieces that were needed for the boards are ordered so soon it will be tent take down time:cheertwo::cheertwo::cheertwo::cheertwo: 4x8 tent and a 4x4 tent both coming down very soon. Now to find them a new home so they are not sitting around collecting dust

We'll get some pics up later today of the fun we're having, until then have a great Saturday!
