I am thrilled that the voters in Fairbanks and the North Star Borough didn't give in to the 2 propositions that would have banned cannibus within their boundaries. that would have ruined 4 growers who provide cannibus to the entire State and many shops in Alaska's interior. The vote was 60% against the two propositions! It was the largest turn-out of voters in recent memory!

I'm glad that common sense prevailed! It would have been foolish to kill the Golden Goose.

I'm getting pretty excited about the two rooms and we were able to pick up a 2 ton mini split for a really good deal from one of the vendors we use so we shouldn't have any issues of being to hot next summer (both days :rofl: ) when it gets up into the 80-90 temp range. With all the daylight and warmer temps it gets a bit to warm in the tents. We also have a few more lights coming ( well the boards anyway, still will need drivers and heat sinks) so we should have the flower room pretty set up once the tents come down. Then we will be going to sealed rooms and see how that works out, we're thinking it will help with the low humidity we get during the winter keeping the humidity in the room rather than exhausting air outdoors.

Sounds like my plan! Save the warm moist air this winter. I guess I'll tackle the 2 days of 90 plus degree weather when it arrives... I hardly doubt the wife will let me air condition the bathroom before other rooms in the house :)

You have some ladies vegging? Or waiting until after harvest?

Yeah they thought they could trick us.... haha. I was still holding my breath I need meds until harvest!
 
TMD you located up here as well? How awesome if you are :-) Hope your not shopping for meds though, that would get way to expensive at like $320.00 a zip. Maybe we can help ya out with some stash until you can harvest up a few girls?

Sent some Lilly home with my QC guy lol, he just called with a two hit test report.........it’s a keeper lmfao. An get this, he doesn’t care for Sativas because they get him all worked up and jittery. After he told me it was a great buzz I let him know he just smoked a 100% Sativa and LIKED it :rofl: After he stopped calling me names.......lol, he still likes it.

Oh ya!!!! That's what im talkin about ...fug ya D! The Lilly is prolly my fav. buzz of all i've grown in the kit! There was really nothing too awesome about it , but the buz was right up my alley , for sure. I knew you would like it D. Makes me happy , that you and your people do as well! Pretty awesome, turns out TMD and us are pretty close neighbors, who woulda thunk it lol. Hope to meet up later on an chat a bit, blows me away that we live so close to one another yet meet up on the Mag! :rofl: love it! To bad the weather isn’t nicer we could fire up one of the cars an go make the tires round :-)......too cool, see ya soon TMD!

TMD meet up with us yesterday evening for a bit and were looking forward to checking out the process of making some other extraction methods. He’s a very wonderful young man And we got to see some pics of the product he’s made.......very cool looking!!! Lol, funny how new things like this get you excited to learn how it’s done. We sure enjoyed the visit an hope we will get to do more of it in the future and get to learn from one another.

Fellow Alaskan here (panhandle), newbie beginner too
I'm a little late here, and didn't read the entire journal, but WOW! you grew some righteous buds for a newbie! I netted 82g on my first plant (first real effort anyway) but hadn't found this group till she was weeks from harvest. Knowing what I do now, I'm amazed she gave us anything unusable at all
I accidentally picked up a bag of coco when I meant to buy soil and didn't catch it till my ladies were securely planted. After reading about it I was glad for the mistake. ✌

Hey GT! I'm using coco too. So far seems to be pretty great. I think AB may be convincing me to try docs line. His nugs came out awesome, and taste wonderful! The proofs in the pudding as they say. And thats some great pudding ;)
 
Heya GT thanks for dropping by, always great to have fellow Alaskans around :-) TMD lives just down the street ffs lol, pretty cool we got to meet in person yesterday, had a great visit!

Any good points on our grow belong to Doc! And any bad ones belong to us! Once ya get in the swing of things with Docs gear it’s pretty much crews control and getting things down with Docs gear is easy........we did it so it can’t be hard :rofl: Our first grow was with Fox Farm and it works and all, but, all the “add this on week 1, these 3 things week 2, these 5 things week 4 and all just was a huge PITA for us anyway. Not knocking them or the product but dang, too much to follow :rofl:

We’re not pros like a few of the folks around but the pros won’t hesitate to jump in and lend a hand to help you out and Doc himself will answer any questions you might have along with plenty of folks using his gear. We’re sold on it, for newbies we’re not doing half bad but it’s because of Docs gear and the help of others.......not our “skills” :rofl: We knew “Nothing” at all when we started, now know just a lil bit.

GREAT people on here, always helpful, friendly and actually care and want to see others be successful growers. Best group ever in my book.
