Arctic Bowl's 1st Ever Attempt At A Grow Journal

So, didja harvest the whole crop, or are you going to grow a perpetual garden?

Hey AK, we just harvested 2 of the autos that were ready the first harvest. We then harvested one more auto that we just put into jars tonight. Tomorrow we will harvest a topped Auto Train Wreck and the last Northern Lights auto as soon as she says she's ready lol. She's on here own time clock for sure but guessing a week but just a guess. The photoperiod girls that are in the 4x8 tent still have a ways to go yet but are looking ok.

Hope all is well in your neck of the woods

Here is our second Northern Lights Auto that went into jars tonight. Little better yeild from this one then our 1st.

When growing a number of strains, it's a good idea to spread out the harvesting a bit, so you aren't trying to bring the whole crop in at once. And, like you said, some strains take their sweet time (esp the Sativas).

Personally, I'm good for one or two at a time. Anything more than that, and the joints start aching, and I rush the trimming and sorting, just to get the job done.

Some shots from the topped Train Wreck Auto tonight. Some nice size buds we think but this was only because of all the help we get from everyone here. We are so greaful to have found such a fabulous group that help everyone along when they need some kind guidance from the more experienced folks here. Thank you so much everyone that has helped us this far, we will have more questions as we go but feel a bit better about things now. As newbies it can be kinda intimidating to try this, always trying not to look to stupid with the questions we ask. The great thing is, we have never once been told that even though I know we have asked some very basic questions and that's what makes this such a great place. We had as close to zero knowledge as you can get in this area but, everyone welcomed us with open arms. You all are AWESOME and we thank you.

Hello there Arctic Bowl :Namaste:
Been reading your journal and I must say :goodjob: Such an inspiration for new growers like me :)
Makes me wanna get Northern Lights for our next try.
Love the canna butter pics and of course the beautiful ladies...
Blessings of love to you and wifey... :circle-of-love:

Thank you for the kind words and for stopping by our little corner of the world. You will find that EVERYONE here is so helpful and will take the time to walk you thru what ever it is you have questions on. We can honestly say, ask anything at all here, no matter what it is, if the answer isn't in that persons wheelhouse they will find that person that has the answer. We couldn't have done any of this without everyone here guiding us, we knew very little about growing this fabulous plant, we still know very little but, we have learned from everyone here and will continue to learn.

Blessed Buds our friend and you will do wonderful here. :circle-of-love:

We would love to drop by your place HP, drop us a link please :-)

Hey AK great to see you :-)
So many times we have asked ourselves, what are we doing wrong here, they are taking way longer than 8 weeks. Then after doing some reading around we found its not just us that the Autos don't come in at 8 weeks from seed to harvest. It would be great if they did but, we haven't had that luck.....yet :-)

Have you tried any of the canna creams for pain? My wife swears by it and so do I. When my lovely wife has pain from her tumor removal surgery it gives her what they call chicken skin, lots of raised bumps from her thumb up to her shoulder. The Dr. Said its just what happens when nerves go thru this type of trama. Anyway, she applies the cream and within 20 min or so the bumps are completely gone and the pain is declining. Just a thought for something that may help for you :-)

Blessed Buds our friend and hope you find relief for your pain. :circle-of-love:
