(I've been doing the recharge about two weeks into 12/12)

Hey Doc thanks!

I was gonna ask in Q&A and I am heading into week 5 but in general what is the timeline for the re charge?

And yes cheating indeed!!!! lol.

You're in week five of bloom? The re-charge is usually done in week 3. This will be interesting!

Go ahead and do it. Top dress the re-charge and some worm castings if you have them. If you don't have the worms, don't worry, it doesn't make too much difference.

Give a thorough watering in of the re-charge, but try to minimize runoff. I usually slow pour/drip 2 gallons of water per 7 gallon pot. Include some Transplant and Tea.

Looking good brother!

Ok so we did the "recharge" albeit 2 weeks late as Friday marks day 35@ 12/12. Slow poured 1 gal each followed by another gal 6 hours later with tea/transplant. Finished the 2nd cat drench last Sunday which was week 4. They are good and soaked so going to give them a good drying out and then back to the schedule. Seems like alot all at once so we will see how they respond. Started the other donut @12/12 yesterday and shot out new growth immediately loving the 1k blast. I normally let them start out @ 600w for a few days but forgot to turn the dimmer switch on the ballast so just gonna roll with it as they seem to be enjoying it. These 5 really have that look to them and have high hopes for them. I took one out of the rotation which was a Romulan clone and I have it in quarrintine as it had some real faint blotches of what could be PM so I want to make sure. It goes in the trash if it continues on.

Ok back for an update Sunday.....

Peace,

Any2

Did you ever spray with Epsom salts? I don't know if this can be done with the kit or not, but Doc helped me out with that tip. I have a P4 indoors that is really benefiting. I am not sure why she is still clawing, maybe the redworms in the soil.

Yes! You can spray with Epsom salts with the kit.....but you shouldn't need to. Something, somewhere went wrong if remedial measures are needed......but as long as the leaves are still green things will continue to grow.

The trick with the Epsom flush is to get them right away, as soon as you think they're starting to twist down.

I've had to do it. Especially when I'm trying to find a lethal dose of something like Energy. High nitrates in the water can do it too.

I wish I could just speed up the calender lol.

Been awhile as I have been very busy with a new job. But I will have some picture updates very soon. The "Fab 5" I like to call them are doing very well and just recieved a little trim job going into week 3. Into week 7 for the wild thais which will be chalked up to my first grow and really did not time everything well and they have been through the mill. The late recharge in week 5 which was also close to the 2nd cat drench and they burned up pretty good. Hard to read them because of the claw episode always makes them look bad. Have a 2nd batch ready to go after this round and they look awesome. Thinking about getting these 2 rounds in then restart with a clean slate and possibly with some longer veg times in the flower room under HPS.

Have some new soil cooking that started on 11/23 as well.

Ok......gotta get some sleep 4 am comes around too quick lol.

Peace,

Any2

Timing is everything.....for a first grow I'd say you're rocking it in a spectacular manner.

Well thanks Doc....and yes timing is everything. I did a good job of stressing these girls out. I would also add planning and organizing in there too. I am starting to put together seperate calenders for all the different phases that are going on with clones, different perpetual cycles, soil cooks etc. Things start going crazy after awhile. Ok gonna snap some pics.

LOL, you too, huh? I fiddle with my calendar almost every day. It's tricky thinking 4 months ahead. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Lol....yea the calenders!! Ok a few picks from the thai girls. This Friday marks 56 days@ 12/12 so were coming down the home stretch and going to finish with energy then water which will get them to 70 days. Not sure how long these go so we will keep an eye on em. While they look bad and on the small side the aroma is really getting strong and they are sticky as hell. Burned them up pretty good with a recharge at day 35 and the 2nd cat drench 4 days prior to that. Bad timing on my part for sure. But learning alot by making the mistakes which I kind of expected. It is SO much easier to stay on track then to be playing nurse and paramedic man after you get them out of whack. Oh well.......also the cages were way to big on top thus causing and creating to much distance from the light so I down sized them a bit and even more on the 2nd donut which I am still working on the rest.

Pics of the "Fab 5" I like to call them. A couple blue dreams, a couple blueberries and a grandberry.

Gottta figure this out. Same type of clawing the wild thai's had but not even close to as severe. Also they fold inward like a reverse taco. Again feel free to chime in.
