Another Brix In The Wall: Sweet Pink Stink & Coked Out Girl Scout

re: Another Brix In The Wall - Sweet Pink Stink & Girl Scout

Ween, not good news about the males bud, but i bet everything will play out jus fine. Jus make sure you get those males out of there before they start hitting on those pretty ladies. No need for any babies in your garden lol.

Have a good night bro RoorRip

Not great to have a male Ween, gosh hopefully it doesn't come back to bite you in the bollocks. I remember me having to check daily with my last grow on which was male and female. Blessings my man :passitleft:

Thanks guys! Not confirmed males yet. I'm hoping I'll know by Friday since I'll be out of town for the weekend. As I was typing, I thought I could separate them if I need to. It'd just be best if all were females! Shit, my first grow, I got 3 of 3 females from bag seeds!

re: Another Brix In The Wall - Sweet Pink Stink & Girl Scout

Morning ween :hugs: Here's a link to a blog of a post by TheCaptn explaining how to determine sex. Look it over carefully and take a closer look at the plants. From the blurry picture Nis commented on it's too difficult to see the placement of new growth. Females will always develop right smack in the center of the branching. Males don't follow that rule at all. They're trying to get that pollen scattered to the winds, so they shoot the sacks off to the sides, to better catch the breezes.

This is something you might want to determine before you leave them unattended. From the looks of it they're close to an explosion of pollen, if it's a male. Those sacks show up overnight. Good luck with the determination, and have a safe trip.

Thank sue! I don't have anything that looks like the male in Captns pic. Will keep an eye on it for sure and won't leave em alone together unless I find definitive pistils. I am seeing small signs of pistils but can't tell. Did you see the other pics I posted? They seem more in line to what you and Captns described as female. Fingers crossed!

Thanks again! :high-five:

Sue is the hero we got here but didn't deserve :adore: hoping they all turn out the tits my man, no fun having more than two balls at the party. Pretty sure most of them are female bru but that last one it just isn't too clear. Should be able to tell soon!

re: Another Brix In The Wall - Sweet Pink Stink & Girl Scout

Thanks Pat!

Based on what sue said and the blog post from Captns, I am leaning towards "it's a girl!" The 1st pic is the one that concerns me the most, looking somewhat like a pollen sack but not totally and it is right in the center not off to the side. What do you all think? I'm so damn impetuous, I just want see some lady parts!

Thanks DB! Coming over to your journal shortly.

with new growth. Females will always develop right smack in the center of the branching. Males don't follow that rule at all. They're trying to get that pollen scattered to the winds, so they shoot the sacks off to the sides, to better catch the breezes.

With this statement, I'm fairly confident both are females! Thanks SweetSue! Now I need to get the dang canopy even!

re: Another Brix In The Wall - Sweet Pink Stink & Girl Scout

Thanks Rad! Are you also nervous about the second pic? It's the same plant. I'm leaving for a couple days in an hour or so. Should I separate them? The other tent is in the same room and both have fans so if the one developed pollen, couldn't it make it to the other tent? I could turn off the exhaust fan on the one with the suspect....

Lights out in an hour so I'd need to decide to move before then. Anyone?

re: Another Brix In The Wall - Sweet Pink Stink & Girl Scout

Thanks Duggan! After being away for a couple days, I was hoping the questionable plant would look much better, i.e. More definitive. I say it looks female but I can't really see pistils like on the other. Is there still any question about it? See the first 3 pics, then the last two are the other, no questions about that one.
