Sorry Amy, I just now got around to stopping by. I didn't see the tag sorry I don't usually examine all the notifications. I wish they didn't notify me of every like or post
Just wanted to let you know you can change the notifications settings for likes, etc. in your account. When I started I accidentally set it to send an email for every like and post. Had to sort that out and fast!

Glad you were able to get things figured out Amy! :thumb:

Hey AG and everyone. I’m sorry Amy the 20ml of transplant you and Doc spoke of is that per gallon of drench prepared or what? I must have overlooked the amounts you were feeding as I couldn’t remember how you prepare your drenches love.
Rest easy AG and I’m sure you and I will be more prepared for things next go around.
The mid bloom fade pulled a fast one on me this time, but I’ve learned a tremendous deal and it won’t get over so easy on me next time.

Ok so it hasn’t been explained very clearly maybe... cause I worked it out through a series of emails w doc, and then I was too tired to lay it out very well.

With the raised bed, we’re talking amounts of Drench per Sq. Ft. of garden (SF)

The original written instructions I got gave a per 1000SF amount as a per month amount.

I worked it out at about 15ml for my 4x4 - then the monthly part made us all think I needed to break that down further, so we thought 4ml per week. Doc wasn’t around for that convo.

While troubleshooting with Doc, he calculated it down to the same amount and then said that was minimum and almost double that would be good - so 20-30ml - and that should be per feed (so he seems to be ignoring the per month part). He also said I could go stronger than that without worry. So I’ve landed at that range of .6-1.5oz per feed, for my 4x4 (16SF).

Hope that makes it clearer.

It doesn’t matter how much water I use so long as I’m soaking the soil well. I actually soak the soil using the soaker hose (or rain) and then apply the Drench as a concentrated amount in a few litres in the watering can during or after the water soaking in.

Hope that makes it clearer. Outdoors, in the ground, it’s by Sq. Ft.. :)

I see. The per month thing is kinda confusing huh?
I wonder if applying the drench as concentrated as that is ok? Seems it could be hard to distribute it well.
I hope I’m not coming across as nit picky love. I’m really just trying to brainstorm with ya and hopefully learn something for my own adventures soon.

Not nitpicky at all!!

Honestly - the per month thing is the sole source of the problem. So there’s no mystery about what happened. That’s a very good thing.

So hey- funny you should ask about that watering tech. I was gonna say more but left it out!. I’ve been doing it that way, using between 2-4litres to apply the Drenches. I spread it around evenly. Then yesterday, Gray mentined to me that I could do it with much smaller amounts even. If the soil is wet already, you can apply your drench in a small amount of liquid and it will soak in and distribute just fine. I think you’d always aim to spread it around a bit. So I’ll happily use only a litre to distribute the drenches to the raised bed in future - much less taxing, and let the hose do the rest of the work.

It’s also handy for a pot outside that gets the rain. Yesterday white widow was full from being rained on all night - so I tipped it to empty the tray, and gave a strong TP in about a litre of water.

Great post AG.
Could you remind me and my horrible memory about your White Widow and how you feed her? How much drench does she typically get? She’s in a 10 gallon?

Hi Amy! You’ve been unknowingly in my thoughts lately as I consider my own outdoor endeavors! The raised bed idea may have to be shelved for next season. I picked up two 30 gallon fabric bags though. What’d ya think?
Hi Archie, I went with a 25 or 35 gal cloth last summer. The hottest days got 2 days between waterings otherwise 3 or 4. The journal is below if you want anything more specific. Tutankhamon

WW is in a 13.5gal. With pots I do it by soil gallons. So it gets 1-2ml of Drench per gal of soil. Yesterday it was 20ml, or so - I’m a bit fast and loose with my ‘plops’ into the bucket these days ;)
Thanks AG! That’s a fair amount of soil by most folks standards. I know Doc recommends 25 or so gallons outdoors yeah?

Thanks Stone! I will dig right into your journal cheers!

:thumb: he does! I didn’t know! :nervous-guy: Looking like i’ll Make it tho’.

Everyone got Brixed this morning - about half an hour ago. With Snake Oil for the raised bed. For the record :nerd-with-glasses:

I have something really special to share this morning.

I’ve been learning about medicinal cannabis use from a leading exponent called Dr Dustin Sulak for a while. I have SweetSue to thank for bringing him to my attention. It’s his work we’re making use of when we do the 6-Day Re-sensitisation protocol.

OK - so the next thing I’m aiming for, in my medicinal cannabis education pathway, is to be a fully paid member of his training program for med. cannabis consulting. One of the things he does for that program is a monthly interactive webinar covering latest research, his own work and extensive Q&A.

Well, this month he’s made the recorded webinar freely available! So here it is. Great section on terpenes and pain/inflammation! Woot! It’s long, and I haven’t watched al of it yet, but i know his stuff is nearly always very, very, valuable.

:Namaste:

Recovery is becoming visible already - I think some greenness has returned, the other isn’t convinced of that, but we both can tell that Candida put on about 1.5” of height, all over, overnight. :thedoubletake:
Go Candida, go!! :cheer:
