All Aboard - Dabber Blooms Buds In The Tub Of Love

I'm going with exponential. To get from 7.5 to 6.9 takes ¼ tsp. Another ¼ takes it all the way to 5.9!
With kool bloom? I wonder if my little bit of lockout was too much bloom booster? I kinda assumed that much and havent gone back above 3ml per gallon. I'd rather offer the plant a little less P and K than throw it into a full blown meltdown...

With pH Down. Dunno from kool bloom :).
Gotcha. I'm gonna look into that whole ph deal a bit more next grow round... I had faith in the pH perfect, but at this point I'm just tired of guessing all the time

I like the pH pen that @RETRIX recommended. You gotta calibrate it to start (after soaking for 15 minutes so don't put it off to the last minute like some people ;)).

I ordered the basic tester only but they sent me the full kit! It needs at least the 7.0 solution to do the calibration, but the kit comes with the 7.0 and the 4.0. More precision.

Help?!

This trip has kinda totally screwed up my entire grow....

Were looking at 3 or 4 options. Listed in no particular order.

For chop

1. Chop the plants early. (Most likely to happen)

2. Try and rig an auto feed system to feed until I get back. (FAR less likely to happen)

For drying. (If I chop early)

1. cut down and into small nugs let dry 5 days (just before leaving) and freeze until I get back.

2. Cut down entire arms and or entire plant. hang with less of a trim. And let dry the almost 2 weeks I'll be gone.....

3. Cut down and freeze fresh frozen buds. And dry and cure when I get home.

Thoughts opinions thoughts?

Hi Dabber how's it?
I love interactive challenges. Of course I'll comment. Ha. Your dab man, all options seem pretty close lol early clip... I don't like the buzz from some strains harvested early so I'd auto w. But if extracting, is there anything to share with that option in mind? Is oil effected by age of plant? Or would it be more a per volume(maturevsnot)?
Cheers!
Low

Good input everyone! Low, I think the main attribute of an earlier harvest is a more stable or rigid product. So you get more of a shatter and less of a taffy. Also depending how early you chop you may sacrifice potency.

Next part of the challenge is whether or not I should increase the dark cycle another 30 mins to an hour in attempt to help them get along a bit quicker....

Thoughts suggestions thoughts?

I would yea.

Okay final answer....

I will push the chop date back as far as possible (for an early harvest)

Freeze the buds and dry when I'm back

Shorten the light cycle

Thanks gang

And give Jack to Arctic if he's running 20/4.
No 2 flower rooms.... boys and girls. I have a couple weeks yet to figure that one out. If it warms up enough I wanna throw it outside! Doubt that will happen though.
Idk I'll figure something out. Maybe I'll do an auto watering deal after all. Or up pot with soil and put it on a water cal mag only drip? Ughhhhhhh

Just went to check the plants.... bad news. Lost one top already to mold or some white fuzz. Humidity has been a little high but I also attribute it to the dense buds o mama G. I'll wash in diluted h2o2 and use it for some topical ointment.

Here's to praying I didn't blow months of work.... I'll throw a box fan in for the remaining duration of the grow and look for a dehumidifier.... ahhh fun fun fuck

@InTheShed what's the h202 to water for bud washing my infected stuff?

I'm also gonna yo newty on some leaves. Idk how else to cut down the humidity....

H2O2 won't clean the botrytis during the wash. Nothing cleans botrytis except for the steam clean method. H2O2 cleans PM during the wash. And other dirty stuff, but not botrytis. I'll find the link to the steam post, but freeze those buds until your Mrs is out of town!

Can't remember who but someone said they run high RH in flower with a lot of fans and do okay with it. I'm hoping it's true because it's moist in the dark box. Not sure you should go full newty yet if you can get better air circulation.

[edit: cleaning botrytis buds with steam ... keep in mind there are holes in the bottom of that top pot]
