nice work on the hash, ive heard its best to keep putting it back in the freezer if possible or fridge when its standing around as if it heats up the trichs melt and you end up losing some of them, looks like you got a good amount though, i was worried i dod not have enough, i got 3 show boxes full of sugar leaf, 2 big jars full of trim and one of them 2ft jelly bean jars full of trim and sugar leaf, so looks like i got enough to make me some hash,
their is a few good guides on this site, the one is the method used above which looks like it works well and might be the method i go with,
their is another method that also looks good and very easy, basically you break the trim up into small pieces, not to small but just rough it up in your hands so its broken up a bit, then fill a jar about half to 3/4 full and place a couple of coins in the jar, then place some silk screen over the top of the jar and use a rubber band to hold it on tight, then tip it up and give it a good shake and let the trichs fall through the silk onto a glass or smooth table,
its supposed to work best with frozen trim, ill try and get a link, its on this site and it had 3 different methods for extracting thc and making hash, but the method above seems to work well, i think ill go with that method, the last part about that method said to slowly fill the jar up until the green stuff washes over the side of the jar been careful not to shake the trichs up in the bottom, then strain it all through a paper coffee filter, then rinse the jar with water to get any trichs out and pour it through the coffee filter, then scrape it off coffee filter and leave to dry,
what ive read many times is its best to let it dry for around a week to 10 days, it will get darker over this time and a skin will form on the outside of the hash, once its dry it can be worked into a small block or ball,
ill try and find the link so others can see the different methods, basically it was showing that you got more hash using the method above than you did with the bubble bags, using the bags you get 3 or 4 grades of hash and only small amounts, using the method above you get 1 grade of hash and as its mixed up with good trichs and broken trichs then it produces a good strong hash,
im not sure how true the statement is that this method produces more hash than the bubble bags but this way is much easier, less hassle, less cost, i think this is the method ill go with, i got lots of trim so might give it a go tomorrow if i get chance, i honestly thought id need boxes and boxes of trim to get a few grm of hash, so thats what i got, ive not used any trim since i stared growing, i dont keep fan leaves or branches that dont have trichs on them, all my trim is sugar leaf, bud stems and lots of small popcorn buds,
think i may need to use several jars, i think i been saving my trim for to long, i got it stashed all over the place, shoe boxes, big sweetner jars and a big 2ft jelly bean jar full of trim, not just full but totally squashed in trim,
