They do. Id herd of it mentioned but was blind to it as id never seen it in the hydro shop I figured it would be a crappy product..... I was wrong lol
Any one help?? My budy is growing hps 600watt struggling with his temps. I sugested we build a 'L' shape lip along bottom of his reflector and fit a thin sheet of glass to block a bit of heat figure it would also aid light coolin having the fan blasting through the reflector channal. Question is he's a bit worried that the glass will diminish some of the lights growing power I say no as surely u wouldn't get cool tubes if that was the case... he says the sun doesn't work well through glass ... his reasoning being you only get Sun burnt if u lower a cars window...never if its closed haha
 
The plants aren't soaking up the same radiation that gives you a sunburn though. It doesn't even see some light that we ourselves can easily see. I think its the green light spectrum. But either way, I don't think glass blocks much if anything at all.

Well its the blue and red spectrum otherwise theyd make other speced bulbs no? it will reduce the heat on the plants he'll be able to put it closer but the only way it will reduce heat more is if you manage to exhausted the air from the space between the light and class. see if you can diy a duct into there or something with a cheap vent, worth a think about.

my 2 cent to the topic.


edit: depending on how his reflector looks you could get a cheap flimsy duct that you get around the place sqeeze it inbetween the glass and the reflector top and hook it up to a vent thats sucking out the air from under the light leave the other side of the reflector open for fresh cooler air(hot air from the tent) or have it hook up to the carbon filter as the air will smell. which i just realized haha or you'll be sucking out weed oddered air :P

hell who needs air freshener when your grow space vents into your living quarters it always smells beautifully
 
Cnd could not agree with you more. Personally if it were legal there'd be plants all over the apartment if I had it my way and if I had a house and garden I'd do weed landscaping hahaha. I love these plants everything about dem
 
It would be a dream world if it was 100% legal to grow. Doubt it wil happen in anyones lifetime on this site.... but who noes 420 keeps creating cannabis awareness they might start listening. More money needs plowing into medicl testing to find the true extent of cannabises medicinal and healing qualities. I think govermants are scared of putting real cash into it

I like y'all input into that :) clearly everone has an opinion on that. I agree with all of use.
Its not even legal for medicine here. U need to break the law to buy meds off a drug dealer.... and break the law even more seriously in growing ur own and missing out the middle man. Its a shame
