Day 18 flower of 70
Quik update. Things are looking fantastic. Better than I hoped by far at this point :)
Plants look lush/healthy and both have 18 tops yipeeee
If they keep stretching at this rate I'll move my second screen up slightly as that's just for flowering tops to grow up through
Had a few hot days here but we've kept temps at 80° lights on 68-72° lights off with room humidity between 35-45%

Only issue I'm having is I can't find out when girls reakly need water as I can't get at the soil as use have seen with my grow style
So iv been watering every 4 days one feed nutes next feed molasses. That's been cool so far but I'm surs theyl soon be gettin more thirsty
Its been 1.5 litres each feed each every 4 days for the last couple of weeks
Like a say they seem to be doing ok on that so far. Guess I'll up up it maybe 500ml next week....

Cnd....it would apear I underestamted the stretch lol
Max.... weres the new toy?

Pik update tomoro

Well like I say its completely off subject

My car currently runs on petrol costing
£1.30 per litre

Thinking of converting it to run on LPG costing
£0.70p per litre

On petrol the car averages 30mpg or 30 miles per 5 litres

One gallon of petrol costs £6.50
One gallon of LPG costs £3.50

Now the question. Obviously u get more lpg ur money but its not a strate comparison. LPG is only 70% as economical as petrol
U only get 70% of the miles off LPG u get off petrol

So my car averages 30 mpg off petrol
With 70% economy how many litres will it take of LPG to cover the 30 miles

Wanting a comparision of value for money the conversion is a bit pricey

So ur gonna loose 30% of mpg for for the ability to use fuel that's almost half cost. Right how much does the conversion cost

Well iv done some calculations of my own for the above I work it that basicly 5litres of lpg will return about 20 miles
Meaning I'll need 7.5 litres of lpg to achive the 30 miles I get to the gallon off petrol
7.5 litres of lpg is £5.25 for 30 miles as aposed to £6.50 with petrol giving a saving of £1.25 per 30 miles

If I drive 18,000 miles I'll save £600 if I drive 20,000 I'll save £666

Meaning the conversion will pay for itself in 1 year
The comparission mpg would work at 9.25litres lpg at £6.50 (comparision price of petrol per gallon) will return 37.5mpg

If my workings are right then its well worth the investment if I keep the car +1 year.

Sorry all this is ment to be a grow journal not a car improvement site lol

Yo alex , I had a car ten years ago,( 1986 chevy camaro , IROC-Z) I put the LPG on and found I got even better mileage when used with the gas and LPG working together.
The lpg burns clean ,causing the petro to burn completely and intern no carbon build up on engine parts = longer engine life :thumb:
At 27 years old this car is still running ( well the engine is any way)
SO long story short PETRO and LPG work better together than separately.

When u say working together do u mean using both fuels at once or the motor being able to switch?
The kit the company is going to fit has a flick switch that u can switch petrol to lpg they recomend from cold start till engines warm to use petrol then lpg from there on. I don't think they offer a system that burns both fuels in a mix at the same time but I'll lok into that lurch.

DAY 19-20 Flower

Iv had to tease down some branches to keep canopy near leval. I'm hoping to not super crop (I think that's the nipping branches right?)
But wanting level canopy for light usage

So the piks.... these are 6-7 days from the last round

I think the sativa is coming through with those long narrow leaves

The ducting leading down to my tower fan is linked to the roof space. The fan pulls enough cool air to keep the room at 80°
Just upgraded fan from a desk fan. I have to have this one on setting 1 of 4 otherwise its like a tornado lol

I wish I could remember the company .
As you said start under petrol and then switch , the system I had , had a NOS style atomizer that added just enough lpg to the intake air before the air/fuel mix.
I was just informed that my old system is now only for use on diesel engines. the atomizer leaks the lpg
Any way ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Looking pretty good man! Very clean and well thought out. +reps!
