Lol......fussy creatures those women :) You should see the state of my tent from the outside lol. I've got a timber frame covered in black n white. Then I put HEAVY gauge dpm over it. Then, to deaden fan noise I've put 2 super king sized duvets over the top, THEN I've got old curtains, duvet cover .......whatever I could find lol...... hanging off the sides :) It's pretty quite now and TOTALLY light proof but it ain't pretty lol.
 
Noisy buggers aren't they? lol. I wrapped PILLOWS around my 8" Ruck lol. It deadened it a bit but not enough. Best thing is to build a box from MDF and mount the fan in it.....that's what I'll do for the proper room. Probably fill the boxes spare space with egg cartons too lol :)
 
Morning Sir Alex, yep definitely don't want that lol. My missus has so much clobber that half of it I don't think she even knows she owns it! This is a woman that was housebound for over 5 years :) Still has soo much bloody clothes and shoes. Mind you I have taken her closet off her and soon the bedroom! So I cant say sod all! :)

Iv just returned from wickes with the all important studwork wood or timber or (lumber for trichome)
Went with 2"x2" instead of 3x2 why u may ask? The price lol 9x2.4m lengths of this was £13.30 reduced from £23
Were as 3x2 was £4 per single length
So hopefully I get building in the morning :)
 
She's getting her life back on track now, thanks my friend. It was more like6-7 to be honest. Thats why I gave up my pubs etc. She was great when we met then we actually stopped toking. Then within months she started having panic attacks, anxiety etc etc. We then had to move into a tiny basement studio flat with not much light. After the Bulgarian business failed. So then she got put on all this anti depressants etc and suffered being house bound in a horrible hole.
I cared for her and we spent every single day together. Then she kicked the meds and came to doctor Mary ! :) and I ve been in charge of meds green ever since. Now she smokes again her life is coming back to her. This also means mine is about to come back to me :) exciting times in what has been a long dark period.

Alex, you beat me to it but I was going to say 2"x2" is a better bet if you're buying fresh. There's no overlap to account for on corners and you now have 4 faces to choose from instead of 2 for which best to be "seen".
LA, I know we've discussed it before mate but as I said then.....you're a PROPER diamond of a bloke. It takes a lot of love and devotion caring for a "stricken" partner....much respect to you my friend :Namaste:

Yea it does make better sense doesn't it mate :) couldn't belive the price of timber. I used to ask the joiner on what wver sit I was on "am I ok for a few length 3x2 or my ok for a bit skirting board?" They would throw me the container key help urself lol

Ahhhh, those were the days mate. Everything is so expensive these days....killed my business. 18 years blood sweat n tears wasted. Shit happens I guess lol.
 
Terrible isn't it oz. Guna be a while before we see those glory days again if ever. I remember the building trade booming and at one point ppl thought it couldn't fail to last forever. How wrong were they (I)
