Alaskan1's Flo n Gro Mixed Bag Grow

I know OMM, It's just crazy.
You know those tomato cages they make? I was thinking of trying a couple of those in my next grow and see what happens. maybe I can get all the plants to go UP instead of sideways lol

Checked the plants again this am and things are looking good. Added my midweek H202 and then the res temp was 66.4
UPS has been our friend today as new items are arriving for our 3rd tent going in. All we are waiting on now is the actual tent. Last one I bought had a small tear in it so had to send it back and waiting on the replacement.

You can sure do that....tomato cages. :thumb:

Bummer on the tent...what a let down! :smokin2:

Hey all, wanted to apologize for not being around much as of late. I have been letting a lot of things slide lately and I need to get caught up. Garage looks like a tornado hit it, need to get the venting done in the attic. Have to get the second grow room ready and then get a place ready to dry and cure my herb that will be here in a couple of weeks (hopefully)
I have been slacking in checking in on other peoples journals and I feel really bad about that. But, once I get things done around here I can get back at it!

Another little project I have is I'm testing a new insulin pump, meter and constant glucose monitoring system. Pretty cool! They are trying to get it FDA approved and I am a test dummy for this.

I will still pop in from time to when.....I have the time lol

Thanks for understanding and hope to be on here a lot more in the near future.......now if anyone wants to come help me I could get this crap done and be here quicker. Any volunteers?....yea, didn't think so lol
Cheers!

:thankyou::theband::hugs:

Hi Alaskan1 -

Life happens, and it's happening to me lately too. Sounds like you're one busy dude!

Your defoliation looked great - I'm still figuring out what I like best as far as how much to defoliate. I loved your "going to the store with the munchies" story!! I've lived that experience a time or two I think, lol.

Happy 4/20 day, and have a great weekend!

Well I got 1 and a half projects done. I got the garage clean enough so I could start another project and get it all dirty again lol
I have a pretty good size attic above the garage so I installed one of those folding walk up ladders (attic ladder) and then put plywood down all through out the attic. Now I can clear a lot of crap out of the garage and house. I will start to work on motorcycles in the garage for people here as soon as all my projects are complete. Will be nice to make a little cash.

Perseverance: Pressing on even if shit hits the fan.

Nice job A1.

Thanks Jandre!

Got the attic venting about 95% all done. I just need to open up a few holes in the bird blocks. The air is really blowing out of those vents. Went outside with my laser temp gauge. at 2am. I bet the neighbors who were up are thinking "what is that crazy bastard doing now" Temps out of the bird blocks was 75 degrees. Not really sure if enough hot air is able to escape so tomorrow I'll take my hole saw and make an extra hole in each bird block.

Thats about all for today......night all.

Ok, I'm about half way through my projects. About another week or so and I should have them all completed.

The plants are really building colas. My step son brought over a grower who has been doing this awhile. He said everything looked great and was impressed by my setup and the way I record things. Anyhooooo. He said I needed to get rid of some fan leaves because yhey were covering colas. SO, said leave the little ones, get rid of the big ones but don't go nuts.
So I took some pictures of what I have started. I need your opinion on if I need to do more or less lol
Thanks people!!!

Thanks OMM

My hands are SO damn sticky from cutting those leaves it's insane lol
Can you dry those leaves cut them up really well and turn them into dry ice hash? Is it even worthmy time to try that??[/Q UOTE]

Don't bother buddy..waste of time. Sorry! :circle-of-love:

You could mix it with your trim after harvest....would help then. Freeze them till then if you want to try it. :Namaste:

Free tip of the day from Alaskan1

My hands, arms and feet were so damn sticky! I tried everything to get it off. Used the last of the alcohol to clean the snips before defoliation. My wife said........use some of the coconut oil..
What the hell, I tried it.......frickin took everything off like THAT.......plus now I have silky smooth skin LOL
Serious, give it a try...worked slick!.....get it? slick? yea ok nevermind lol

This is what I did it's in the freezer waiting for the plants to finish. If I take any more off I just add it to the bag.

A1 I think you did a great job :thumb: don't do any more

If that was sticky from tryclones you could have made some finger hash

Thanks slick I'll try the coconut oil next time I trim.

Looks like you have a tent full of wonderful healthy looking girls. :goodjob: :welldone:

Did you ever talk to Chief?
