I made it easy to find the branch I broke and taped on Westley.

only recently realized that a 12/12 cycle is recommended throughout the grow cycle, not just flower, but this one has thrived since day one.
That's all I have on the plants. My boy goes to the dentist tomorrow. Pray for us both, lol! For real, though. The dentist and staff also.
Let's clarify this before we start a new club... and please tell me where you saw this recommended... I would like to give them a piece of my mind for recommending this to new growers.I only recently realized that a 12/12 cycle is recommended throughout the grow cycle, not just flower, but this one has thrived since day one.
How is that even possible. All photoperiod plants start flowering with the 12/12 light schedule, that would of triggered flower way too early.
I’m really liking orange sherbet still!! Looking good al!
Good luck at the dentist!
That’s where my wife was yesterday.

I have heard of commercial ops following this strategy because 1. the plants adapt to it 2. The cost of electricity during veg is cut by 6 or more hours a day 3. The plants rapidly go into bloom around the 5 week point when growing from seeds.
A big downside is that by doing this you are no longer prescreening for male plants, and they are going to pop up doing their thing right along with the females and it it going to take a steady eye to keep pollination from occurring. Seeds are going to pop up here or there as a result of a little bit of random pollen hiding in the room.
I also think it would be easy to show in a side by side that with 18-19 hours of light a vegging plant would get a lot more vegetative growth than a 12/12 grow would, and I would like to see that experiment, although I don't want to be the one to do it.
More problems occur when you are running clones. As soon as a clone sees 12/12, it goes into bloom... whether it is 5" tall and just popped out roots or if it has been training for a while. 12/12 for clones can not be recommended during veg.
Although this method works for very careful SOG ops and commercial ops with lots of plants, it may not be the best way for a home tent grower going for high yield and no random seeds to go. If you want to run a photo quickly as if it were an auto, sure, go for it... but yields will suffer greatly from the practice.
Indoors can also see growers produce successful crops with the following recommendations; first, it is grown in a 12/12 light/dark scenario throughout its cycle not just during the flowering phase. Secondly, it only requires a light feeding schedule and excessive nutrients will cause lock-out of the same to the plant's detriment. Indoors yields of 400 gr/m2 can be obtained in a 55 - 60 day flowering time.
Cultivating Master Hemp outdoors or in a greenhouse is where you can truly appreciate the potential of this plant, as it can grow to between 2- 3 meters. It can be easily handled indoors as well, where a very light feeding Schedule and a 12/12 photo-period from seed to harvest is recommended.

Give her my best. As a tobacco user, I understand the willpower that a feat like this requires. She apparently has it in spades.@Tangled is doing well - still not smoking (tobacco) after 2.5 months. Great job!
I had a lot of catching up to do Al (unbelievably, about five pages worth), since I was offline since Thursday evening. There is so much to comment on that I just chose the one thing that I'm most impressed with.

And slightly less impressive is that beautiful garden. Roll Tide, my friend.
There's a quote from a famous author that is fitting here, hmmm, let me see, oh yes...Thank God for the vapes that some idiots want to ban. They helped me quit and are helping her now.
I wear a white long sleeve tshirt with just a simple script A on the front. I've worn that shirt every game day since the 2012 season (probably my favorite championship season, during the Saban era). Just this past Saturday, my wife said, "Don't you think it's time for another shirt? That one has holes all over it." It may be time, Al...I'd appreciate it if you changed whatever lucky item you have that is causing all these injuries. We don't need any more. Roll Tide, brother.
Flowering doesn't happen until a plant is sexually mature. Doesn't matter if you start them under 18/6, 24/0 or 11/13, they won't flower until they are grown up. Even that depends on the strains. If you deal with Equatorial Sativas, they generally won't start flowering until between day 60 and 90. Light manipulation has little to do with it for them.

the THCV ... drew me to this plant.
A long, long time ago, I knew nothing about growing marijuana. I tried growing a great white shark seed. Didn’t know any better, and started a seedling with a 12/12 schedule. It lasted, well maybe two weeks, give or take. Very little growth, and the light schedule ultimately killed the plant.
My friend took it over for me, as we moved. Tried to save it by putting under the 18/6 schedule, but was too far gone.
Hey Al
Can you please elaborate?
Why is THVC interesting?
