I’m not saying for sure, but some of that looks suspiciously like the effects of some fungus gnat activity I’ve seen in the past in my own garden. The larvae damage roots and this kind of patterning/spotting can occur on the leaves. Are there any gnats? :hmmmm: I don’t remember you mentioning any, but I don’t remember everything ;)

Apart from that, which doesn’t seem too severe, everything looks wonderful! :D

Hey Ala, your big weekend is here! Hope your Crimson Tide has a great season opener. May your weekend be peaceful. The start of school is so stressful for kids and parents as well. Praying adjustment period is quick for all of you.
I made my own LAB'S and really love it. My last indoor plant is doing great and i swear it has to do with using it.
If you do have fungal gnats, you want to nip their activity. I used peroxide and water. I sprayed the outside of my pots as well as watered the plants with it. Worked well. They like acid stuff. You can put vinegar in a bowl with dish detergent they go in and don't come out.
When you finish with each plant pot etc. wash thoroughly. I do by hand outside then the dishwasher. For all soil, I heat in the oven to 140F for 20 to 30 minutes. Kills off bad stuff but isn't too long to destroy nutes. The homemade compost I have going will be heated before I bag and store the soil.
Thanks so much for sharing your grow and your life with us.

That’s me waiting patiently for the timers to be flipped! Lol!

My flower times is on at 12pm and off at 12am.

I do it that easy because they would get the most attention by me within those times then if I had them turned on at 12am and off at 12pm to try maintain a cooler tent. So I just settled with what I did.

I look forward to that flipping!:yahoo:

Thanks, Backlipslide. Not a bad idea. That way I could to them in the afternoons on the days I'm home. It is beginning to cool off little by little and will be cold soon enough. Looking at insulating the garage door and getting proper weather sealing on the top and sides.

Very Nice Al. Plants are looking fantastic, going to be some big colas in that tent.
:passitleft:

Thanks, Sparkey224. I hope so.

Thanks, Amy Gardner. We had whiteflies and I've seen moths and I did see 1-2 (literally) gnats on the clones but none on the bigger plants. I've sprayed with neem/safer and BT and watered with BT as well and the trouble all started around then but had been improving and this just seemed to help a lot. I will keep an eye out for gnats.

Thanks, Newfun. We've lost our 2 starting inside linebackers which seems to be an annual occurrence. Not too worried about Duke but the schedule gets tougher later on. Praying for peace here myself.

Peroxide it doable and seems to provide O2 to the roots but I'm going to hold off on any changes as long as they are improving.
I've got Doc Bud's stuff in my Amazon cart waiting for me to add some curtains to it. Going to start adding it to some waterings. I also like the vinegar/soap idea.
I've been washing with a clorox solution for the plastic pots. The fabric i imagine will get washed and dried like laundry.
Thank you (and everyone else) for joining us on this journey. Great folks here on 420! Love this place.

Sounds good Al. Glad someone else is singing the praises of LABs too! Yay newfun :cheer:

H202 can work well for the gnats but it will kill your micro-herd AFAIK. The BT in the soil is really effective, so you’re already on to that. That’s how I got rid of them here (mosquito dunks in the garden water tank ;) ), along with layer of gnatnix on top of the soil to stop them getting in&out. I had about a grow and a half troubled by those li’l buggers! Very happy to be free of them this time. :dude-knocking:

Going to flip tonight. Going Noon to Midnight with the lights since that will give me some daytime and the evening to do what needs done. So Saturday August 31 will be first day of flower/bloom.

Wanted pics of every last night of veg. Four clones survived. Got a clone of Blueberry. Need clones of orange Sherbet and Og Kush CBD.

Night pics. Last night of veg.

The last pics of the girls before the transition to womanhood begins!
They're looking like they're definitely ready...you may even have a couple of them bumping the lights in about two weeks...
All those ladies in flower is going to be a beautiful sight, Al .
You've done a great job on them, and the payoff is going to be very rewarding indeed.

Thanks, carcass. I've been anticipating this for a couple of weeks now. Glad it's finally here.

It's officially August 31. It is the first day of flipping. Silly question, but is this day 0 or day 1 of flower?

It is day 70 since putting most of these in water, Day 69 in soil. Day 65 for MH1, OS, and NL since popping up from the soil, Day 64 for Blueberry and Westley. Day 62 for OG Kush CBD. Day 59 for Nikita.

This has been an amazing journey so far. I again want to say how much we appreciate the support we've received in growing and in life. Thank you all so much. I can't wait to share this next step and those that follow with you.

Hey Ala! Hope you are doing well. Everything is still looking great in there, so much space!
Congrats on flipping to 12/12. Looking forward to see your flowers! :high-five:

Hey @Alafornia and @Tangled :ciao:

I’m very excited to see that the timer has officially been flipped.:yahoo:

Your question, the answer is, the first day that you have them under a light on light off 12 hour cycle will be day 1. So if they have only 12 hours of light today then today is day 1 of 12/12, But!

It’s not day one of flower for the plants. It usually takes about 4-7 days of 12/12 light schedule before the plants will fully flip.

You need to keep a close eye on them everyday, and the first day you see pistils. That’s day one of flower.

I can’t wait for you guys to witness the transformation it takes going from veg, to flower. It’s really something else, especially witnessing it the first time. It’s incredible! Enjoy it!

Thanks, Backlipslide for that answer.

So when I checked on everyone earlier I found several problems with the new setup, some related.

The flower tent temp was 90 Vulcan degrees! This is related to having the ac facing the temp probe and it giving a false lower temp reading. Once I turned the ac the other direction the temp went "up" from 74 to 83 in the veg tent. When I go out again I'll see what the temps are running.

I also found windburn on Orange Sherbet. I had moved the fan from one end to the other and thought all was good but no. I moved the plants down and turned the fan upward to blow the air more up than straight. When I go back out I will move OS a little further away and a shorter plant into that slot.

I watered all the plants. They seemed thirsty with the temps like that. I used mycorrhizae again in the water.

I need to take clones of OG Kush CBD, Orange Sherbet, and another of Blueberry just because I want a mother for her and one for the next grow. I'm hoping to get the seeds I ordered soon so I can grow those out this next time along with some others.

Oh, I was able to run the exhaust fan in the veg tent on low as an assist to the one pulling air from there to the flower tent. Hopefully that will help with the temps, too.

First I have pics of the ac point the wrong way then after I turned it away from the temp probe.

Next is the flower tent

Next are single tops.

You'll notice both Northern Lights and Orange Sherbet have some windburn and maybe the heat got to them a little

Bama got off to a slow start but came on strong to win 42-3. That team from "West Georgia" is losing to Oregon so let's hope that continues. :D

The kid is still sulking but that seems to be improving a little. He is taking his medicine again so that helps.

Hope everyone is having a wonderful Saturday.

Damn I miss watching football. I didn’t have any favourite team for college ball, I just enjoyed watching the young talent before possibly going into the NFL.

Your plants are looking good. Getting used to their new home, adjusting accordingly.

Mishaps will happen when “dialling” in a new tent.

Should have maybe worked out the kinks before flipping. It’s not too late, but I’m a jump in feet first and deal with everything else as it comes, a lot of the time too. So I’m all for what ever you choose! :thumb:
