Alafornia's 1st Time Multistrain Medical Grow

Thanks, backlipslide. It went together pretty easy. It is from topogrow 5x10 ft (120x60 cm). I have to get a few electrical issues figured out and then we should be good. I'll need to get an oil heater (as in heating oil/kerosene) for the winter. That will take some of the load off in about a month or so. I'll need to have it looked at because while it seems to be safe the wiring is not what I would expect and is causing issues.

Ok. Had to improvise due to the electrical issues. Again, nothing is a safety hazard. Just not enough amps for all I want to run. I think we’re about 5 amps short and it’s because whomever wired it has something else going on it. Have to get that figured out. There should be just enough amps with maybe 2-4 amps left over (been a while since I figured it) and that’s with the extra light.

Anyway, got a few more pics. Had to run a straight shot on the ductwork from one tent to the other. I kept the fan attached in the little tent but it’s not plugged in. Rearranged things a bit in there.

Oh. I threw out Orange Sherbet 2.0 today. She didn’t make it.

Good morning. Thinking of either flipping three big girls ca flipping all vs training a little since I have more room. Leaning toward moving all but the clones to the big tent and flipping.

Oh No, Al. We can't afford this...

"It is believed that Alabama junior linebacker Dylan Moses suffered a severe injury last night at practice. What we know coming up at 10 on @3ManFront. "

Sorry to potentially be the bearer of bad news... But the good news is that your setup is beautiful. So much more room.

Nice new tent al you are going to love all that extra room. You will get alot of medicine out of there. Buying new equipment is like an addiction at least for me anyway lol.

You know what they say,Al- big tents, big plants...
Well, "they" may not say that, but I do...
That new tent is sweet!
Hope you get the electrical sorted out- one advantage of having a small growspace is that
you can grow with only about 3 amps.
There are no other advantages,though- that's about it....

Congratulations on the new plant apartment. Move in ready! Sure looks great.
It's going to take all day to take this odd look off my face. Awe, happiness and shock and envy. Makes for an odd combo.
So sorry to hear OG clone did not make it. Best wishes on eliminating the white flies.

Our LB corps theme song is another one bites the dust. I used to think it was about what they did to opponents. No more. Ugh! ACL per Cecil (and others).

So, train and flip or flip. And flip whom? Bueller?

Who doesn't like new stuff, right? :)

I am very pleased so far. One weird thing is the standing fan kept tomping over and the floor was lifting off until I put an old computer chair in there to weigh it down. lol

I think I'm going to have to make my piece with them unless I can figure something else out. BTW, I love your grow space.

FEF, I don't know why we keep losing LB's but after about 5 years of it I'm ready for it to be done. Not many teams could absorb these losses but we can to a degree. Hopefully it doesn't hurt come January (or December or before). Maybe a couple of 5 stars will step up.

Hi Ala! New tent looks great. Move ‘em all and flip I say! :cheer: And then start planning the next one. That way you have something happening and only need full power in one tent while you sort out the power draw stuff.

They all look great and ready to go! These ones will give you some more practice with plant wrangling soon, as they stretch :D

All best to you and the clan :Namaste:

I agree with Amy 100%

Flip them all baby!! :yahoo: (Not calling you that, just a phrase)

Then after a week or two, you and @Tangled can start a new batch of seeds.

You could also take one clone off each plant and see how many take. Then you know you’ve got more plants waiting! :thumb:

Nice set up @Alafornia @Tangled its looking great!

Oh and I wanted to say that I would not advise taking 2/3 and leaving 1/3 going into flower - someone recommende that a few pages back. I know plenty of folks do it so not dis’ing anyone, it’s just not what I do or recommend. I’d be more inclined to say trim tho bottom 1/4-1/3 and leave the rest. Up to you of course, I just wanted to provide some alternative options :)

I recently came across (thanks to another grower in the Brix Q&A) a really good piece about pruning and the impact on roots. I’ll bring it over here for your information banks ;)

Love it! CHeers Al, looking great!

Here ya go - just reproducing my whole post ;)

420 member @Coloradokid19 recently shared this info on the DBHBB Q&A an I went back to seek it out because I’m close to flip so close to the ‘heavier’ prune on the photoperiods and this is something I have wondered about. I thought I’d drop it here for folks who won’t come accross it over there :). It comes from agricultural research so is general info, not specific to cannabis. I assume it applies.

I went looking and found that the seminar mentioned in the post is on the Tube. The seminar is loosely connected to an agricultural product that is designed to help repopulate depleted agricultural soils but mostly it is just really good discussion about soil health and food quality etc. I’ll drop the video here. It’s very long so I’m not expecting anyone to watch it all, unless of course you’re like me ;) I’m watching it in 20 minutes blocks, am about 1/3 of the way through so haven’t seen the bit where she discuss those actual slides yet, but they’re in there somewhere. :nerd-with-glasses:

Yeah, I think I'll take them into flower just like this and play it by ear.
