At this moment Al, you've surpassed my level of experience. I've yet to germinate a seed. If the USPS, would get off their collective asses, I hope to be doing so soon. I see one of them is still wearing her helmet. Hopefully, she'll shed that without any trouble. I'm glad I'm here from the beginning. This is going to be a good one.

Stupidly, I killed OG Kush CBD #1 and had to start over with a new seed. I did a better job all around this time with it and after three hours soaking it looked ready to pop already. I expect in 2-3 days she will be humming along. Long story short I tried to “help” her get to the surface because I had planted too deeply. Won’t make that mistake again. Here are the others:

RH 16% in the tent so I have humidity domes.

The lights are at 190 watts x2 and at 4 ft above the rim of the cups. Not sure if I should lower the lights or raise the wattage or leave it. Maybe @Lowrider72 has some input since he’s running a similar setup but I’m open to suggestions.

PS the high temp was before I moved to “ground” level and dimmed and lowered the lights. Also set the inkbird thermostat heat to +/- 6 degrees instead of ten at 78 degrees instead of 80.

I lowered the lights to 40” and kept at 190 watts each. That was the lowest I could go without rerouting the wires. Will keep. Close check tomorrow as we’re only 15 minutes from lights out for the tent.

MH1, NL, and Orange Sherbet are looking strong. White Russian has almost shed her shell. Blueberry is ready to open up. OG Kush CBD #2 is safe from my stupidity for now and not shown.

Humidity was 16% this morning and I wanted everyone to get direct light so I hung a damp towel. Went up to 54% and moving. I’ll take it.

I forgot to mention that I turned the lights up to 245 watts each (x2) and kept them at 40”. I’ve been checking on the girls all day and everyone is taking it in stride. Now I’m like a first time father with worrying without end and having to just go watch them breathe (even though they aren’t sleeping). Haha! Surely I’m not the only one...

Blueberry really grew like a weed today. White Russian needs to come on up. Orange Sherbet overtook MH1 in height but MH1 seems to be a hardy strain. Northern Lights is doing well. I hope OGK CBD pops up soon.

The towel is helping humidity levels. I’m dealing with RH in the teens even with moderate temps. I even sprayed the tray to get the RH up a bit.

I love this community, the opportunities to share knowledge and learn, laugh, mourn, encourage. As much as or more than doing what we do seeing our humanness and, at times, feeling it. Tragedies and triumphs. The mundane and extraordinary.

Mrs. Alafornia says I have a propensity to tinker too much. I’m sure this was spurred by the shameful fate of OGK CBD #1. Maybe she’s right, but I’m also a fine-tuner and a fixer. A refined and adapter. It’s what I’ve done since I made my mind up to do what needed to be done. And I know where it came from. My dad wasn’t the smartest man or a rich man. He just did what needed to be done and he tinkered until he either figured it out or my mom made him hire someone to do it right. Haha! But he had discipline and persistence. He was a man of honor and integrity. At his funeral every person remarked that they had never heard a bad word about him from anyone at anytime. Sometimes to a fault he put others ahead of himself. If I can be just a little bit of that I’ll be as happy as I can be.

Glad to see the seedlings are doing well....Germinating seeds is the only part of growing that really messes with my confidence...I've had more not grow than I've had grow,at least back in the bagseed days-
Hopefully that's changing now that I stopped being so cheap and bought some good genetics...

I'm gonna follow along while those girls grow up,if that's ok...
