Excellent yoyo work! Mini binder clips on the string will keep the top hooks in place if they start to slide where you don't want them.

Thanks, Shed. Set a clip in place tonight. I happen to have several.

Day 47 of 12/12.

Day 115 since placed in soil.

Temps outside are all over the place. In the garage 60-70s. Same in the tents over the past week or so with once or twice getting to 80-82. RH about 50% in the veg tent, mostly 40's in the flower tent.

Last watered 2 days ago. Will water tomorrow. May soon have to go to every other day but watching it for now.

Slight learning curve with the yo-yos trying to pull and lift the buds in the direction I want and and keeping the string off everything as much as possible. They are working really well. Thanks, @InTheShed , for the tip. I didn't even know such a thing existed or was needed (though I did think about using the light pulleys to lift them like I did before with Nikita). Two packs of twelve from Vivosun were $19.98 at amazon.

I ordered and got an Instant Pot Max. My plan is to decarb and infuse at the same time in a manner similar to canning. This has an automatic altitude adjust and reaches 15 psi. I really don't know what I'm doing but this is supposed to do well per @SweetSue 's thread on it and with little to no odor. I imagine it will help preserve terpenes as well.

I recently mixed a tincture from the dispensary with EVOO and liquid coconut oil. They are doing well in the capsules so far. I have lecithin to add to the set from our upcoming harvest.

Of course I got a few pictures tonight.

The rewire for the garage is not going to happen in time so no low and slow drying like I wanted.

So I am considering a 2x2x4 ft tent for the job. I should be able to squeeze it between the veg and flower tents and funnel air through to control humidity and temp. I figure with the vertical space 2x2 should be big enough. I can tie string and hang from that and/or coat hangers.

Thoughts?

Garden’s looking great, Al.
The frost on the NL is a lot of fun
Sounds like you have the plans for drying sorted and good on you. I couldn’t do the low and slow on my first, either. We muddle on.
The good thing about the extra tent.. it’s an extra tent! You’ll use it as an extra space for something - isolating a pollinator for example. Saves having to get one later on.

Double D! Can't argue with a word. Hope you are staying warm.

Man those plants and bud are looking good. I will be getting some of the Yoyo's as per Sheds recommendations Looks like such a good idea were they hard to tie or hook up with the yoyos

I Love the pooch pics we have 3 GSDs and a little Rat terrier so we are dog lovers too. I seen a nice dog hair on one of the bud shots they are leaving you their love Lol.

@MagicJim has a cardboard box with strings to hang branches from that works so well. There’s not all that much needed for drying - dark and airflow are the primary considerations.

BrixNewb uses a small drying tent with mesh shelves that works really well, if you make sure to keep the airflow going.

Sorry you won’t get to try low and slo this time, but you’ll have more forests to harvest in the future. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Thanks for calling me in. I didn’t know how much I needed to see tent full of blossoms. :hugs::hugs::hugs:

Thank you. Not difficult at all. Just tie some string to the poles and hook the yo-yos. It does take a little patience to get the hang of placing the yo-yos to get the buds going the way you want.

Haha! This dog's love goes everywhere I go. lol

Thank you, Sweet Sue.

It really depends on how many plants are coming down at the same time. I got two plants in my 2x4x6 tent but could have squeezed in more in with additional stringing.

Thank you, Shed. I hope you are sleeping well tonight and your surgery goes well so you can eventually get back to schlepping a little.

Looking great there, Al. My goodness, you are going to be busy in a couple weeks or so. Grow brother grow.

Thanks, oops. I'm taking some time off in a few weeks so I can get some things done and get a little bit of rest.
