AK1 Grows Indicas with JD Lightings

:popcorn:Just read this journal from the beginning. All I can say is your persistence and dedication to getting this all going is amazing! The problem with your lighting was NOT FUN to say the least...I like the set-up, a little larger than what I have space for. I will be subbed until the end...my friend:cheesygrinsmiley::tokin:

I see you have done well... never easy though I see. Some of us it seems are destined to struggle for everything.

Still fighting the good fight

Yep, had a good one last time. Going to try for another soon. You are right....never easy. Well make yourself at home again. I'm glad your back. Have thought of you. :peace:

Workin on some DIYs for the community at this time. I am looking to move into the Hydro, but it has to fit my style so to speak. I do like the coco but the daily water and gnats I can do without. They are not an issue other than the medium is more prone to it than any other I have used. Easy is better if my ideas come to fruition. My current DIY is a low maintenance bucket system, expandable from DWC to RDWC if all goes well. Glad to see you are hanging in there... take care of what truly matters most first. I'll have to stop by your thread, as I scramble to get back into the swing of things here. As far a growing goes I am running Northern Lights and Bubblicious. Sweet combo to say the least.

:rollit:
Missed you guys...

Hey hozona, thanks for subbin! Yeah, that light issue was a bitch. I wish I would have known from the start. Would have made things much easier. I don't like to fail in anything I do so like Smokz says, I'm after it like a dog on a bone.

Missed you guys...

Well we have missed you as well. I often thought about you and where you were while you were gone. VERY glad to have you back. I think while you were gone I completed 2 grows. Each grow gets better as I dial things in to my situation. Each harvest has gotten bigger in the same space.
You need any help with hydro let me know. Or, even if you just want to throw ideas out we can come up with something together.
I have a couple of "how to's" I'm going to post in the growers forum.

You are going to be successful because of your pit-bull attitude...I like it! I want to be on any team your're on...:cheesygrinsmiley:

Was a very busy year for me with a barn raising and the dry year. Heat in the grow room was pushing my setup to the limit. Running perpetual I can't really count grows. I tip my hat to you AK1 for your progress and experience gained. I will garner all I can from your journals.

with my idea of an affordable simple system. DIY of course. I am wise enough to see something bigger in the future as well. But first things first. I have to transition my self from coco to a hydro operation. I need to build an aero cloner I think. I have been cloning in rock wool so that transitions over easy enough, but I would like to see more advanced roots before I go to buckets, than what I am used to. I have been growing a few in stand alone buckets with success to date. I have doubled my grow space and added another 600w digital like the first. That meant I had to compromise my current veg are and come up with another. So standing in the corner is a cabinet for cloning and veg...

Barn raising? You should have called me! My dad is a contractor and builds pole barns. I have built a barn or two in my life lol
