AK1 Grows Indicas with JD Lightings

lol i do that alot, mine is from pain as well it hurts to move around so i play a few rounds of cod ,cut myself off till i get some shit done, today it was alot cleaned tents, repotted 11 clones, mixed soil, then i took a long cod/smoke/coffee break it does work i agree

im telling ya brother rooters are the best i have found, give em half a chance you'll love em, the put some kinda juju in there i swear it i dont use gel or powder any more it seems to slow em down!, a seedling mat, tray, dome DONE:thumb:

I have all going currently.........rapid rooters and my EZ Cloner. The EZ Cloner is the faster way to go when it's dialed in correctly. I have 6 biker OG in rapid rooters right now. When those get some roots I'll fire off all 3 tents at once.

And BID, damn good to see ya man. Hope you and the spiffster are doing well my friend.

MUST be the time of year with everyone having computer problems!

I'm having a new issue though with the grow in this room. RH is getting pretty high when the lights go off. Gets upto 65% during lights off and back down to 40% when the lights pop back on. Not sure what to do about this problem (sigh)

40 isnt a bad number. maybe you might have to run some heaters when the lights are off..if you can match temps then your RH should stay fairly stable.

the water has to come from somewhere tho.
whats the RH of outside, do any clothes get dried in the same building(this adds loads) e.t.c

Hey Dude. We do have high RH outside up here, but my dehumidifier keeps mine down to around 40%. Ofcourse I have to empty daily. 65% you are going to asking for troubles. I know you have a dehumidifier going, but that's awful high. Maybe more air circulation? I know if the ambient RH is high you have no other ways other than air conditioner or dehumidifier. Lights burn off some of the RH, so you might want to run your lights when the RH is at its highest outside. Unless you need the temps controled. Now you need to find a good resisant strain to keep away from PM. You'll get it dialed in, I have faith. It takes awhile to find a good plant that works for ya. I'm still looking and I've lost count how many strains I've been working with. Cripit is a extremley hardy plant. I've never had any problems with it as far as bugs or PM. I have found some mites on the P-91 afew times.
Soo Feb, you thinking about driving down huh. Cool. Do me a favor, keep eyes open at them Indian Casions for those things I asked about. I'll get ya back when Ya come down. And I'll have acouple clones of that OG going for ya, as long as my clones start growing. They look heathy now in the clone tray. Got a feeling they will make it. I ended up cutting every terminal top off that Vantage plant I had that was leggy. Ended up with 14 cuttings, including the 2 I gifted ya, and all have rooted. Even have 4 of them in 1 gallon pots ready to do a fast flip with as soon as space is available. The others I plan on getting up to about 3 foot before flowering. Like most plants I try to grow, I like to keep plants atad shorter. Makes moving and spraying plants alot easier. Keepem Green

Also all that water for your system raises RH levels. Make sure all the resivors are covered and isn't alot of open water around. Like GiG said too, drying clothes raises that level crazy. Keepem Green

Add a circulation fan or turn it up perhaps. Fans lower RH very well generally. Just a thought... I also have a decent dehumidifier, but they ain't cheap!!

i had all 3 of mine going once damn lot of work somebody ALWAYS needs something good to see you back, looks like we both met some friends ,hozona was up Wednesday we trimmed all day had fun swapping stories and genetics, just took down over 2 lbs (wet) 8 small plants, closing journal3 soon 4 is in my sig and im doing hydro! lol

Yeah, it's not the 40 I'm worried about. OH, I know how it's gettin in. We have had nothing but rain rain rain here lately. Welcome to Washington

I already have 3 circulation fans in the room. No room for anymore I'm afraid.

Went and looked at dehumidifiers tonight and boy howdy you're right they ain't cheap. I may hit craigslist to see if I can find a decent one. I don't feel comfortable with a heater in the room to be honest. It may help but just don't like that idea. The room is sealed other then the air intake from the closed off window. The only water in the room is in the very botton of the buckets and then the 55 gallon res. I know it's not the dryer because thats down stairs.
Thinking on it I might be better off seeing if I can find a used portable AC unit. I will need one in the room this summer for sure. Thanks for all the suggestions everyone. I appreciate all your help.

OH, took all my lemon kush in. They purchased a pound and a half from me and said it's the best looking so far!
Getting that strain dialed in!

Craigs list is the place to go for AC units and dehumidifiers. I didn't think of it when I bought my dehumidifier and bought one on sale at Mclendons. I did get my portable AC on CL. Are you going to get a portable or window mount? If you get a portable make sure it doubles as a dehumidifier. You will have to mount it high enough to put a bucket under it but you kill two birds with one stone that way. I am pulling about a gallon of water a day out of my flower room. Just a little moisture in the Washington air.

Already ahead of you LW, found one on CL, will go pick it up Tuesday!

Don't know as I can't go in during the dark period. But, I do have a remote unit and I'm going to install that tonight after the lights come back on

You may already know this but you can get a green florescent bulb to screw into a lamp or ceiling light that allows you to go into your room at dark time. The trick is to make sure no light inters the room with you. My local grow shop sells them for like $9 then I seen them at safeway for $5. They say party light on them.

I installed a remote Temp/RH unit a while back, and the receiving unit sits in the living room. I love being able to see what's going on at any given time, remotely. Once, the RH was unusually high compared to what it had been at, and I felt compelled to check out the situation. A fitting on the brain bucket lost it's seal with the grommet and I had a small leak, but enough for a good puddle on my tent floor. Probably wouldn't have caught it for another 12 hours or so had I not questioned the unusual slightly elevated RH reading. In other words, I value it even more than I thought I would now!

I do have a green flouro bulb that I use to enter the grow room during lights off, too. It's handy, but I always feel like I'm cheating, lol. But, it's sure handy sometimes and green light is safe for working with the plants and not causing stress due to irregular lighting cycles.

You know LW, I have heard that before but it never really sank in. I think I'll pick up a couple of those bulbs today. I habe a black mold issue in the other room (from when the controller broke and water got everywhere) So, I;ll be busy cleaning up that mess.

Well I think my humidity issue will be solved. Tomorrow I'm picking up a dehumidifier I found on craigslist. Thing retails for 265 and I'm getting it for 100 bucks! Suppose to have been used very little.................we shall see.
Tks for posting X, always nice to see ya around !
