Got the dehumidifier today I bought off of ebay and imagine my suprise when I open the box and find a new dehumidifier!!!!! Plugged that bad chicken and and within 10 minutes RH dropped 10 points in 10 minutes. Thing is workin like a charm. Keep your fingers crossed.
Awesome! They make a huge difference, but they are hella expensive beasts.
Merry X-Mas!!
Merry Merry A1. Great buy you made!.
Merry Christmas A1!! Looking awesome as usual....
Thank you for all the Xmas wishes! Back atcha!
So the dehumidifiers first day in the room during lights out went from 65 to 70% RH to 35% so I'd say it's working!!!!!!!!!!! YAY for me lol
Has a two gallon bucket but I'm not sure that bucket is big enough to hold all the water it's taking out. Has a auto shut off. I will report how things look once the lights come on in about 3 hours.

Understood....too much effort to have that happen...Pests, mold,or grow room ventilation/cooling so much to watch besides nutes! With my lights on its a touch high between 45-55 which is not horrible, but when lights go out it gets up in the low 70s which hasn't caused a mold or mildew issue at all but it's something I would like to control.

Hey A1, your dehumidifier probably has a provision for hooking up a hose to run to a drain/bigger bucket. Some are built right into the container itself, some are above the container on the plate that collects the moisture. Also, get a couple measurement devices and compare them to each other (calibrate if you will). Chuck the ones that read higher or lower than the average values.
