African Sun And Indoor Gardening: Pushing My Own Boundaries

Back in the green world.
Update time
I simply don't have space and running out of time for this winter season.
My daughter threw some seeds in the ground at her place and so many came up she gave me about 20 seedlings.
16 of these are in the seedling fridge

And in the vegging cupboard are clones, a Kush and a friend's single seed (now a plant ) that he entrusted to me. No pressure.
I call it Purple Edd

Morning boetie how are you keeping hey, I don't where I'd start in your garden hey....haha
How's the missus and the band guys doing hey, staying safe with all this covid 19 happening all around us hey.....
Been rather quiet my side, just growing quietly to be honest and trying to perfect my edibles, made some mint fudge two tone didn't quite turn out as the Pinterest version you could say...
I've been chatting to Rhys777 and just thinking now aren't you pretty much in the same neck of the woods hey boetie.....?

Good to see your handwriting @Smeegol
The garden has been going well this winter. Plenty of plants coming through.
You must have had some cold around your place brother.
The band has taken a back seat since the beginning of Covid.
We tried an online thing and had a couple of problems so we shelved that idea.
I have work coming out of my ears. Busy like a bee.

Not sure where Rhys is but if around here it would be cool to hook up
Enjoy your day boet boet

Eish I am sorry to hear about the band brother as I know how you enjoyed your weekends when ya had a gig on..

Winter was brutal this year worst we have had in the six years that I've been back. Had so much black frost that it has killed any and everything that was outside, most gutting was losing my gauvadilla vine and guava tree which was only 7 years old....

Forgive my shady memory boetie but you are eastern cape if I'm not mistaken.

Hope ya have a blessed day and regards to the missus please.....

Ya he's also up that side of the country but as you say your slice of the woods covers quite a bit of ground hey...

So going to be putting my tunnel to good use this year and grow vegtables in her instead of canna as this last summer got a bit unruly and just way too much to process and a lot of side waste which could've been put to better usage but faak I was getting tired of so much green so pots are my new go to, but also looking to relocate to Jozi towards the end of the year so don't want any mid grows that have to be left to waste away in the tunnel...

Hope ya having a blessed morning boetie...

Decided to harvest some parts of plants this weekend.
Yesterday I harvested a Northern lights and what was supposed to be a White Widow
But has a distinct lemon smell. So it must have got crossed along the line.

The Northern lights and in the bottom right corner a part of the White Widow / lemon.
Today I cut some Cali Orange from these plants

Ja @Smeegol I sometimes wonder what I would do if I had to relocate.
There would be a lot of waste me thinks.
Your tunnel would work well for vegetables brother.
Do you still have working guests at your place?

Afternoon there had me confused there a second...

Nope my cousin moved back to Randburg at the end of last month after resigning from the job he had here stupid man, then he lounged around for 6 weeks before getting a job at some Reaction Company who were short staffed luckily.

Yah I reckon veggies are the way to go in the tunnel as fresh veggies can't compare to shelves....

Gardens looking happy and healthy hey boetie, nice to see done flower hanging as I'm scraping the bottom of the coffers till two girls come down in a week or do...

The last chance plants have gone into the greenhouse
Last chance to flower before winter kicks out and Spring is in the air.
I am busy putting a grow room together with a mate as my compulsive seed planting and cloning leaves me with around 30 plants that I won't be able to flower
Nice little project. I have been using Bio-bloom for flowering and this product, along with the earthworm wee seems to be doing the trick on the greenhouse plants.
Updates coming soon

Morning boetie sounds like you have an adventure on your hands with your mate hey. Ya I'm planning a similiar one with a mate in jozi as thinking of moving up to jozi after Xmas just in time for some growing....
Wow.
Moving. ........
Are you renting where you are now or if its your property will you rent out or sell?
I am trying to beat the changing light cycle with the grow room project.
Pretty much a month behind at the moment.
Other news is that I have made contact with a local fellow who has a fairly good range of products related to growing and grow rooms.
Soils, lights, plant fertiliser etc.
Most of what we need and I can probably move some excess earthworm products through him.
Anyhow. .... enjoy your day brother
