Ace Panama, Groot, In High Brix

The low temps were nothing out of the ordinary - probably not as low as 65. I know I was using a heater in the room with a set low temp. It came as a total surprise to me. You can see that she was simply fading to gold at the end, and then went that gorgeous magenta shade before darkening to purple. And it positively reeked of blueberry.

Mmmmm oh man I can hardly wait... I love blueberries so am looking forward to that smell if it comes on with this one.
Sweet, I may be able to get them a tad lower now that its cooling off. And the fact she wont go into flower until sometime in October means I have a decent chance of my tent getting down to around 70ish lights off. Even if I dont get all that color, I would love for mine to turn out as frost as yours did.
Thanks for the tips Gray, I hope you're having a great weekend.

Actually, I just got notice that my own 3-pak of Destroyer has been shipped! :yahoo:

I'm looking forward to running it again.

Well I’ve been looking at new tents today... looking at a 2x4 but want the height that the gorrialla tents provide... can’t find any other brands that are as tall as the 2x4 gorilla they come stock at like 6’11” or so.
Also thinking I would need more light coverage... the panel I built only runs around 250 max...

Any ideas on other brands? What to do about the extra needed light? Need to keep the price resonable... I’m kinda poor after all.

Can PM any info that’s not sponsor related...
Thanks!!

260 Watts of QB panels? That should be plenty for a 2x4. I run three of those in an 6x8 room.
Yes sir, I have 3 of those 304 samsung diode boards running off an HLG-240H-C2100B with a dimmer, maxes around 250 watts (no heatsinks, just aluminum sheet.) If that would be ok for a 2x4 I would be able to get a tent pretty soon... just cant afford to do more lights right now as well.

I was thinking of the 50 watts per sq foot... 8 square feet.. 400 watts... seems like a lot! Hell I dont even get that now, would need 300 watts to hit that mark. But my buds are plenty dense!

Yeah I run two panels like that per 4x4 area and I am loving the coverage.
Hey there Yeti! Yes sir, was thinking if I needed extra light I could always order a driver and an actual heatsink and run one by itself a little higher, say around 100 watts to bring me closer to 340-350 in a 2x4. Probably what I would do, but I believe when I looked I only saw the HLG-80H-C700B and a HLG-120H-C700B. So I guess I would need the 120 with a dimmer.

Just wanted to point out that you'll need more amperage if you want to run the panels hotter. If you're at 700ma now, you'll need to go to 1050ma. The voltage won't rise. I don't remember what amperage you're running now, though.

Ah ok, So I would need something like an HLG-120H-C1050B for a single board with heatsink... I am running the three panels at 2100ma and the single board in my veg cabinet is 700ma...

Thanks Gray!

What driver are you using for the 3 panels now?

Ah, you're running in parallel - I see. So each panel gets 700ma now.

You'd upgrade to a HLG-320H-2800, and that would get you 320 watts.

But what you have is enough - no sweat. :slide:

Awesome, thanks Gray! I just ordered my Gorilla tent today, found one thats supposedly new on fleabay for 200 with the extension kit! Thats almost 80 cheaper than any others I could find... just hope its the real deal and not defective!

Good deal Daj! You're gonna love it! Pretty sure flea bay will standby your purchase and get you a refund if it were defective. I'm sure it'll be fine.

:passitleft:
Hell yea Ween, it’s gonna be almost 8 feet tall! Really excited about that. But I have a ton of work to do to make it fit, have to move a lot of stuff around and such but it will for sure be worth it!!

You gonna grow out 2 plants now? I know all about moving stuff to make tents fit. It's time to start thinking about my damn winter move. Wish I had a better more insulated garage with heat!
Yes sir, was gonna do Two in my current tent but decided I could use more room. I may, after I add more light, grow three in there... just depends on how it’s all set up. But with all that extra height I won’t need to keep my plants as short. I can let them be taller and a bit skinnier so 3 should do well in there.

Yea, that stuff all adds up quick. Wonder if you could use some of that foam board and build a “room” inside your garage with the tent inside... better insulation for sure!
If the room was big enough you could put the heater there, outside the tent... just a thought...
