Hey there Ween! Yes sir, Groot looked funky bit was only because she was a tiny little thing. All her leaves came on really good.

Yea this one has me worried... Good idea on planting the extra right away... I may do that.

Welcome aboard! I’ll post update pics on that funky girl... I may be starting another seed just in case.
This thread is actually for the Panama I grew and harvested and the clone I took from her. Unfortunately the clone started having photoperiod issues just before Transplant... she looks healthy but won’t produce much. I’ll keep everyone posted on this Destroyer!

The only funky seedling I've had that didn't straighten out was one with no apical tip - so, no way to grow. :p But the others all turned into normal looking plants by the 3rd or 4th node. I've seen some that never grew right, but only a handful.

Give it a few more days. :Namaste:

I’ll do that, I don’t wanna cull her when she’s just getting started. I’ll wait one week and see how she looks

Have you or anyone else here ever seen a pistil growing off a leaf like that... she’s way too young for that as is. Strange thing. I googled it and couldn’t find any pics.

Nope, that's a new one for me! :rofl: You should keep taking pics - very cool. Obviously, things are a bit confused for that youngun. It's worth hanging onto it just to see what it'll do. I kept that funky no-grow thing of mine for months. I think it finally died - haven't watered it in awhile.

It'll either straighten out, or it'll be a mutant. It shouldn't take long. :)

Actually Neiko, I was checking in her this morning and it looks like the next set of leaves coming out is normal. I do want to get more pics of her abnormality...

My bad, guess I should have read better. Just figured since it was in their site it was their product. Sorry about that, now there’s a damn non ace plant in your thread. Damn it
 
Here are a few new pics of the Destroyer... seems she may come out of it. Anyone think I should still plant another? I am obviously trying to avoid that if possible, but if I must I shall!

Here you can see one leaf coming on with 5 blades no twists or anything, but the one on the opposite side is much smaller. I figure that will also straighten out soon.

She sure looks like she got man-handled early ? Sorry I have not looked back and dont remember but
did she start with a HUSK ? kinda looks like the kind of damage you see when early shoots are squeezed
and pinched ?

No sir, she was never stuck in her husk. When she came up it was just like normal, them that first set of true leaves came out all twisted and deformed. I’ve done nothing but baby her as I do all the young ones... and she looks to be straightening out. Hoping for the best!!

Oh OK just looked and it reminded me of when I have had to help one along.
Must of just been a little miss fire she looks to be much better even the lower
branch node leafs/shoots are looking very normal so I think she has re-set and all systems go
 
Ok, update on 2.0...
Just some pics... I wont bother putting up the drenches and whatnot, no point really.
As you can see she is already burning a bit... pretty sure this is due to a very weak root system. She will not perform well I can say that with confidence. I will most likely skip the cats and keep the drenches medium and the foliar very light. Roots just wont be able to handle those foliar, and she's taking around 7 days to get dry enough for more feeding, when healthy 4-5 days is just right.

As you will see in the pics she is quite small as well, but thats ok since I do plan on making things as perpetual as I can. Will need the room to flower out the next one too. I was doing the 1/4 De-stress every other day but quit when I realized it was doing nothing.
