Ace Panama, Groot, In High Brix

Don't spray her with leaf wash after you're very far into flower. First Cat would be the latest I would recommend. It's oil based which doesn't play well with resin.

I will say however, I spray my seed makers up until harvest since I'm not growing them for their resin and they are still very sticky. I just harvested 4 tiny ones today and my fingertips were coated in fingerhash.

I saw Doc recommend to alternate between leaf wash and brix, but as @Morglie said leaf wash doesn't play well with resin.

Doc says snake oil is fine to use in flower however, as it is not oil based.
Yes, but it needs to piggyback on another foliar. You can't spray it by itself. You have to add it to brix or destress for the plant to absorb it.

Right, I add it to Brix, but you can mix it with dextrose available from Doc should you want to use it on its' own.

I thought you wouldn't want to use it in flower due to the "oil" in its name. Doc said in @CannaDad s journal that it was ok as it didn't contain oil as the name implies. The leaf wash does however.

Leaf wash is just that, it's meant to wash the leaves. Something to brighten up foliage. Say someone with a show garden would spray it the day before people were coming to view their garden. It also has the added benefit of killing pests. Namely mites, which is why you see many brixers using it. It's organic and non toxic and works, all while making them look nicer in the process.

Snake oil feeds the plant magnesium, among other trace nutrients. It's most beneficial to frankenstrains. Groot isn't going to need it. She'll be happy with just brix in flower.

Thanks gang! I really appreciate everyones input, thanks so much for the replies.
Think ill play it by ear, if theres not much resin production within the next week to 10 days then I will use the leaf, if there is quite a change I will skip the leaf wash. Either way shes looking great, I shouldn't worry about her at all.
I like that leaf wash can give some shine but I would really like the Brix sheen... instead of the oils just making them shiny. I know, of course, that its still a great product and should be used... I just want the leaves to shine on their own. Noel had decent sheen to her... no leaf wash there. At any rate Thanks for stopping by everyone!

Well, she was drying out pretty good already so I went ahead and gave her the second Cat Drench (12ml+ Tea3ml) in 1.5gal water. Buds are swelling nicely and I do see a bit of frost starting on some of the fans... have a feeling this is gonna be good.

Edit: guess I should say the pistils are growing nicely... big ol fluffs of pistils... pretty interesting growing a Sativa and seeing how different it is from the indica leaning hybrids I’ve been growing.

Just some pics to show the bud development since the Cats. She’s done stretching, thank goodness cause I was getting a bit nervous! Here is Groot, now 27 days since flip... and a long way to go!

Thanks for looking gang!

Looking excellent in here. Towers of bud developing there. You're making me want to pop an Ace Panama. Those things grow like weeds.

Well I can definitely say I am enjoying this grow, looks like it’ll be pretty rewarding too! Thank you for the kind words Morglie!
I wouldn’t blame you for popping one... been easy going, no stress grow for sure.
