I once dropped one of those heavy SOBs down my basement steps - I think it hit one step before going off to the side and putting a blemish on the concrete floor. I was afraid to touch the thing when I plugged it in to test it afterwards :rolleyes3 . Still worked fine. Which was good, because I'd have had to drive (as I did drive back then) 15 minutes to the local electrical supply house to pick up the parts to rebuild the thing. But other than those,
