A thread for the users of Mars-Hydro lamps

Yes, The Shopping Festival will end within 3 days, after ended, all the products will back to original price.

I just noticed this in the official Mars-Hydro thread. These are my favourite Mars-Hydro series. I grow all my buds with the Pro series and I can't let this go unnoticed. you need 4 of these to fill a 4x4 tent. They should have a deal for 4, but except for that this is a great deal.

Check out the price.

The Mars Pro II 80 are more flexible compared with Mars pro II 320, can according the grow area to connect them together or hanging separatly

If I were to buy lamps for my grow-room now, I would rather have bought 8 80's than 2 320's. But they didn't have the 80's back then. With several small lamps it is possible to use a check system on the lamps and get away with using only half of them at once. That way you can reduce your electric bill to the half and still get the same amount of weed.

I'm thinking about this system - The 80's are perfect for that

Sounds reasonable:thumb:thank you for your tips haha:thanks:

If I were Mars-Hydro I would use this growing system as a reason for why to buy many small lamps instead of few big ones. One can save a lot of money over the years by using only 50% of the electricity. Really good sale-pitch. You should make notes @SmokeSara

Plants are awesome, what dense buds:bravo: Congratulations:cheertwo:

I Have been growing for a few years outdoor but I just harvested my first indoor grow. I done alot of research ( about 7 or 8 months worth) before purchasing my light, I went with the Mars 1200 in a 4×4 tent and had great results, the plants love the light. Out of six auto flower I ended up with right at 23oz dry, I set my goal at one pound and I never dr I would have yielded that much. Here are the last three that I harvested, I also went and bought another Mars 1200 and another 4×4 tent. I would recommend Mars to anyone, if I can pull 23oz indoors on my first run then anyone can but one thing you need to get good yields is a good light, Mars light will definitely grow some big, sticky, and dence buds. Keep gro everyone.✌️

We named our Mars II 1200 calculated by 5wx240. on Mars II 1200, we have 240 chips, and single chips is 5w, so total are 1200. so do the other Mars II lights and Mars 300, but during working, we won't let the LED 100% work, for that will shorten the lifespan of the light
and accelerate the light failure. :Namaste:

PS - If you go on the Mars page and look on a 400 or 1200, you will see that they list them as equilant to 250 watt HPS and 600 watt HPS. So I wouldn't say they're trying to fool people. I wonder how they named the lamps. Why is it named a 1200? I am pretty certain it doesn't have 1200 bulbs :)

Ah - I think I understand - you rund the drivers on 50-60%?

Does this apply to the pro series and COB as well?

Haha, Glad you received the lucky cat, hope he can bring you much much graet lucky:high-five:

@SmokeSara and the rest of the Mars-Hydro team. First of all - Thank you so much for the COB. I will put it up in the main-room now temporary while I fix the broken lamps. I also want to thank you for this little extra gift you gave me. It's a really beautiful lucky cat. Just the one we wanted. We're hoping this will bring us, the cats and the plants a lot of luck for years to come. It was much bigger than we expected - Wow! Thank you so much. Really appreciated!

The Mars lights must be pretty tough also, when I first got my Mars 1200 I hung it with one racket hanger instead of two and the hanger was old and had to rig the hook up cause it had broke before, well you can guess what happened next, my light fell from about 5ft up in the air on to a plywood floor. I came in the next day and saw it and I just about shit my pants. The light was still on so I cut the light off and let cool dow for a bit and then I hung it back up a few days later after I got two brand new rachet hangers and I have not had any trouble what so ever so far, very pleased with the quality. Oh by the way everyone my screen name is no longer Tom Smith I changed it to EastCoastGoast.✌️

I'd rather have one of those than a new light. Err... no offense intended towards your lights, lol. But that cat doesn't require electricity. And - unlike my real one - it also doesn't require food, medicine, the occasional visit to what must be a very wealthy veterinarian, or litter box maintenance.

Besides, it's cute ;) .

It actually requires electricity :) The paw is moving up and down and that requires some energy

No, It is not the drivers decided the actual power, the drivers that we use run on 98% or higher, the actual power depends on the voltage and current of the single chips.

Really, your light drop down from 5ft up high with nothing wrong?:jawdropper: happy to hear the light still OK, if you found anything wrong later, don't hesitate contact me:high-five:

Just wanted to say thanks to the team at Mars. I had a light (Mars II 700) that was under warrantee and had a failure....but I didn't have my paper work to prove purchase. After speaking with Lucy I was directed to take it to the repair center here in CA. Only a 20 minute drive. Since I couldn't prove it was still under warrantee I was told I had to pay a 27 dollar repair fee. What a deal and the best customer service. I am impressed. Thanks to all the team members at Mars Hydro especially Lucy. You guys are great. I will always buy your lights. A++ customer service.

27 dollar :)

Both Lucy and Sara has been a formidable help for me. Lucky you who have a repair center that close to you

It sure did Sara, I thought for sure it was done for but I haven't had any issues at all so far with the light, it's still running great.✌️

If your light still under warranty, we will help you repair. We understand the receipt is not easy to keep, so only make sure your light under warranty, we can help you repair. If over warranty, we can still help you repair but will charge the repair fee.:high-five:
Lucy is very great, hope you get your repaired light soon:Namaste:
