A Taste Of Chocolate And Blueberries With Vipar Spectra XS 1500 Pro

Shedster..... this has crossed my mind several times. Even outside I've noticed that 5 different plants in a row. All different strains but for some reason the bugs really liked that damn plant! But I will say that I saw more praying mantis on that one plant all summer long. I'm sure certain strains definitely repel/attract bugs/mold yadda yadda...
Just an observation. Happy Wednesday buddy!! 😎✌️
Happy Wednesday Scottay!

the tastier looking one. 😋
The trouble is there are still live insects feasting on the plant. I don't know what to do. I mean it's too soon to harvest the plant and I've already nuked the pistils. If it is the false chinch bug, they lay eggs in the plant. I'm trying to find out what I can about them on Google.
I meant large compared to aphids/thrips/mites.
Oh that big :)

I have a strong fan on the plant and it isn't deterring them. Thanks for picking that up about the eggs. I read that vacuuming them is a good option. I don't have a vacuum but I can see how that would work quite well.

Where are said bugs in those trichome pics? Probably right in front of me but I don't see 'em.

Thanks Con. How do you apply the cinnamon? Do you sprinkle it on the soil? How much do you use?

They tend to hide under leaf tips. They are fewer in number now but they are there nonetheless.
See those beautiful white pistils, they're no longer there. The plant looks horrible. The leaves are drooping and the colas look burnt and dry. Are they still going to grow?

What has the plant had done to it in the last couple of days ?
Yesterday it was blasted with Safers to kill the bugs, followed by a blasting of plain water to wash off the Safers, and I think I left it too long. I also watered it with Bti in case I was dealing with something that lives in the soil. It has had a lot thrown at it.

My concern is that with the pistils dead, the flowers might die.

I tried it in the surface of the pots with out any luck , I think for the best effect it needs to be mixed in the soil because gnat larvae don't like it but I saw actual gnats standing on cinnamon.
The problem with cinnamon is it will kill the good fungus in your soil mix from the research I did.
I think those mosquito bits seem to be the go .
Plus giving the plant a shake and vacuum up the little buggers as they fly off

Id say the spray probably browned off the pistils i couldn't say for certain if plant will be ok because i personally haven't used those products , 🤞🤞.
Hopefully someone will chime in

Ok, not a good side effect.

This is what the colas look like now.

Looking at your collar id say it will be fine ,I vaguely remember someone saying the sprays will make the hairs brown off .
If your plant was going to die it would be wilted and looking sick ,yours doesn't look sick.

I'm with Absorber. If you mixed it up right then the brown pistils should be the only downside. How did you rinse it and did you do it with lights on or off?
I filled the spray bottle with water and sprayed it until it was dripping. I turned the lights down to 25 % when I did it. I mixed 30ml to 1 L, which is what the instructions indicate.

The brown stigmas shouldn't be an issue unless you use those to help determine when to harvest, but even then you can shift to other things like water uptake and then trichome color.
Thanks Azi. This is encouraging! Will the colas continue to put on bulk and trichomes even though the pistils are done?
