Great fotos of awesome sunflowers. Do you harvest the seeds? I do on my biggest & use them for fall baking.

Looking good newty

Heres some of my peppers... not sure what the big ones are.... the little green guy is a habanero. Then it's my one cherry tomato next to the peas ... the fern looking thing is asparagus and then the over ground stuff is the ground cherries... hoping to get enough to go to market in sept20180818_140504.jpg20180818_140511.jpg20180818_140452.jpg20180818_140456.jpg20180818_140656.jpg20180818_140702.jpg

Today's pepper harvest for salsa: peruvian yellow, poblano, y jalepeno
The peruvian are almost as hot as habeneros...so I'll be the only one in my house eating the salsa I make out of them

They'll continue to ripen on the vine as long as temps are above 50F.

But:

Best way to ripen tom's off the vine, if there's lots, is line a cardboard box with newspaper, put toms on newspaper, so they're not touching each other & close up the box. Some toms will take up to two weeks to ripen this way, but check 'em every few days to make sure nothing's rotting/molding.

Nothing magic in the newspaper, it just helps regulate humidity to prevent rot/mold. Same thing regarding not having the toms touching each other.

Grow on!
