A Four Strain Barney’s Farm Grow

My whole place stinks. I have the 4 from yesterday out and isolated in my darkened office. They will be chopped and hung tomorrow. Also tomorrow, another 2 will come out of the tent and be added to the same room. The smell is already overpowering.

Thanks Trala, its becoming a compulsion. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Its nice to have some room now. I don't like so many buds from different plants touching each other.
I see there are a few of us with yellow leaves in later flower. I always get some yellowing at this time in flower. This time Its more than usual. I think its in part due to heat and humidity.

The pistils are changing fast now. The next out will probably be the White Widow XXL's, 3 of these were grown out, 1 in a 5 liter tall hard pot. The hard pot was a test that worked well. I'm considering using all tall hard pots for the next. :ganjamon:

Thank you, Mountainman. :thumb: @Barney's Farm

Its down to the last three in the tent now. Two will come out tomorrow, a Critical Kush and a Kush Mintz. They were left a few days longer as they always seemed a few days behind. They did plump up more and the trichomes did get more cloudy. The yellowing and drying of the sugars came on fast at the end even though they are still pushing out white pistils. Not as pretty as a few days ago but they are ready now. :peace:

Just lovely Stinker! :green_heart:
Thank you, GDB. I appreciate you following along. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Looking back at my nutrient log I see that 8 days ago I fed with 1/2 strength nutrients. I'm convinced that the low dose feeding caused the yellowing. I was feeding strong and bought into them needing a nutrient break. It immediately got the buds looking for more food. Everything went back to full strength nutrients with the next watering. The Blue Gelato 41 that is left in thew tent has a good 10 days left to go, yet it yellowed like the rest. I get to "Live and Learn". Wasn't going to admit to the mistake but shit, it happened.

6 more are now out of the tent. 1 left, the last can dry in the tent when its ready. For now, it really stinks in here. This run is nearly over. It went fast.

The first couple were just jarred. The MxOP came in at 37 g and the 1st Kush Mints was 51 g. It was a full tent at times.

Happy grows :peace:

Soon a taste and then the cure. It took me a few grows before I could even wait for a cure. :D
------------

This grow was cruising along and suddenly it’s nearly over. There is still the 1 Blue Gelato 41. It will probably go another 10 days.

I opted for variety in a small tent - 1m x 1m, or 3’3” x 3’3”. There were 5 strains and 9 plants. 2 gal grow bags were used and veg time was limited to 21 days. What I was looking for was variety from solid well developed plants with nice main colas in a relatively short time. With the exception of a Gelato 41, all were out of the tent at 92 days and seemed to produce some high quality bud.

The small grow bags kept the plants smaller and more manageable. The average wt will be around 2 z’s. Towards the end it was more like hydro / cocoa or similar. I think? The bags were completely full of roots and the drip trays needed to be filled up. The soil wasn't providing much anymore. Last week I mistakenly thought I was overfeeding. As soon as the nutrients were cut back to half strength for 1 feed, everything starved a little. It happened fast.

Speaking of nutrients.
This photo period grow is the first full photoperiod run I have made with @Remo Nutrients . I couldn't be happier and look forward to the next grows. Great stuff, thank you REMO. Have a good conference.

The White Widows are hanging and the 1st Kush Mintz is curing. Time to plan a Christmas grow. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Mate its been nice to follow along with your grow seeing the variety of colours and al tag along for your next 1 definately. Im really wanting to make my own sip grow i find them fascinating how the plant can take what it needs when it wants it. Im just figuring out what nutes to use and what medium. In my 2x4 tent I reckon al only need 2 plants and could harvest more in a more controlled setting. Time to get my thinking cap on and do some research. Happy growing to you too sir

Thank you sir. I see alot of the sip gro stuff and hear good things about it. Some good growers use it. It looks like it works well. :ganjamon:

There is still a Blue Gelato 41 in the tent. Its shows the results of just 1 light feeding. Live and Learn. Bigger grow bags would give a little more of a cushion.

I shook the soil out of the last 6 and will use it outdoors with the soil from the previous grow next spring after adding in some compost. I just don't feel good about reusing old soil indoors. Its a a critter phobia kind of thing.

Photography is the newer pull now. Still working on getting better. These last widows make it easier.

For me, its always a relief at the end of a successful grow. It is just so satisfying! Jars are needed now, so I will do what I can and finish off the last of some Runtz Muffin. I went to get more big 4 liter jars and they were put away for the season. :eye-roll: So, I will need to do my part now and empty some more jars.

Happy grows :peace:

Thank you, GF.
I usually hang for 3 to 7 days depending on size and how water heavy they are. I then break them down and box um up until it feels pretty dry, usually another 4 to 6 days. After the box, I jar and the RH usually drifts back up to around 70%. Its then a slow process of burping until the RH comes down to where you want it.

I just now boxed up some of the White Widow.
